从文化角度对霍桑《红字》的中文译本中宗教语篇的比较研究

【摘要】：近年来,翻译研究愈发注重文化因素的作用。在运用翻译研究的理论进行译本分析时,本文借鉴了部分文化研究的理论,其中主要阐述了法国文化学者皮耶·布迪欧(Pierre Bourdieu)有关“文化资本”的论断,同时强调了安德烈·勒菲弗尔(Andre Lefevere)对翻译目标的阐述,并论述了苏珊·巴斯内特(Susan Bassnett)有关翻译研究中文化转型的理论。两个领域的研究成果对霍桑小说《红字》若干中文译本的分析比较都有重大的启示。此外,还论述了翻译、文化、宗教与文学之间的关系,并在分析译者对小说中宗教语篇的翻译时进行了进一步阐释,其中包括典故、象征以及暗喻等用法的翻译。作为对以上基于语境的对比研究的补充分析工具,语义学中的成份分析方法同样被应用于对文化词语翻译的对比中,这是借鉴了彼得·纽马克(Peter Newmark)有关语言与文化的理论。此外,作者还对以上分析进行了初步总结,旨在说明译者采用不同翻译方法所达到的不同效果,以及影响译者选择不同翻译方法的原因。通过这些分析、论述,作者试图揭示这样一个问题,即译者应当具备丰富的文化知识与适度的文化意识,在跨文化沟通的过程中,充分考虑到两个文化之间的差异,并权衡异同之处找到恰当的表达方式,这样才能通过译作完整地传播原作的文化资本。
[Abstract]:In recent years, translation studies have paid more and more attention to the role of cultural factors. This paper draws on some of the theories of cultural studies, in which the French cultural scholar Pierre Budiou is described. Bourdieu. about "cultural capital," emphasizing Andre Lefeverere. The goal of translation, and Susan Bassnett. about cultural transformation in translation studies. Theory. The analysis and comparison of several Chinese versions of Hawthorne's novel the Scarlet letter by the research results in both fields have great implications for the analysis and comparison of the Chinese versions of Hawthorne's novels. In addition, it discusses the relationship between translation, culture, religion and literature, and analyzes the translator's views on religion in the novel. The translation of the text is further explained, including the translation of allusions, symbols, and metaphors. The above supplementary analysis tools for context-based contrastive research, the method of component analysis in semantics, are also applied to text matching. In the contrast of translating words and phrases, this is a reference to Peter Newmark, Peter Newmark, about language and culture. In addition, the author makes a preliminary summary of the above analysis with a view to illustrating the different translation methods adopted by the translator. And the reasons that influence the translator to choose different translation methods. Through these analyses, the author tries to.
