互文性与翻译——《三国演义》罗译本评析

【摘要】：“互文性与翻译”这一课题是翻译研究中较新的领域。《三国演义》是一部蕴涵丰富民族文化特征的古典小说,该小说的翻译也牵涉到很强的互文性。所以,从互文性角度对该小说的翻译进行研究是必要的,可取的。互文性会给翻译带来诸多困难,但互文性在翻译中的妥善处理可以有效地克服不同语言文化的巨大障碍,从而取得不同文化更高层次的交流。本文主要考察分析了《三国演义》罗译本对原作中几种典型的互文性的处理,并简要讨论了该译本几个突出的处理手法,认为该译本能比较忠实地向读者传达原作以及原作中丰富的文化意蕴,从而进一步论证了互文性的恰当处理对提高翻译质量和更好地传递原作文化涵义的重要性。
[Abstract]:The subject of intertextuality and translation is a relatively new field in translation studies. The Romance of the three Kingdoms is a classical novel with rich national cultural characteristics, and its translation also involves a strong intertextuality. Therefore, it is necessary and desirable to study the translation of the novel from the angle of intertextuality. Intertextuality will bring many difficulties to translation, but the proper handling of intertextuality in translation can effectively overcome the huge obstacles of different languages and cultures and thus achieve a higher level of communication among different cultures. This paper mainly investigates and analyzes the typical intertextuality of the Romance of the three Kingdoms in Luo version, and briefly discusses several outstanding processing methods of the translation. It is believed that the translation can faithfully convey the original and the rich cultural implications of the original to the readers, thus further demonstrating the importance of proper handling of intertextuality in improving the quality of translation and better transmitting the cultural meaning of the original.
