中美文学研究比较

【摘要】：不论是课堂教学还是学术会议的形式,中美的文学与文化研究极其相似。然而从《现代语言季刊》编辑的关于中国现代文学的专辑中,可以发现中美文学研究六个方面的差异,反映在中国学者方面:一、他们对提出新的看法缺乏兴趣;二、他们非常关注文学分期、命名、特征概括是否正确;三、他们强调历史语境对作家创作的决定作用;四、他们描述一个作家或学派的论述高度抽象;五、他们的论文缺少引用,几乎没有风格或形式分析;六、他们都很关注西方作品翻译成中文在现代中国文学发展中所起的决定性的作用,很少关注汉语与西方语言的差异。
[Abstract]:Literature and cultural studies in China and the United States are very similar, both in classroom teaching and in the form of academic conferences. However, from the album of Modern Chinese Literature edited by the Quarterly of Modern languages, we can find that there are six differences in the study of Chinese and American literature, which are reflected in the following aspects: first, their lack of interest in putting forward new ideas; and second, They are very concerned about whether literary classification, naming, and generalization of characteristics are correct; third, they emphasize the decisive role of historical context in writers' creation; fourthly, they describe a writer or school of thought with a high degree of abstraction; and fifth, they lack references to their papers. Sixth, they pay close attention to the decisive role of translation into Chinese in the development of modern Chinese literature, and pay little attention to the differences between Chinese and Western languages.
