论《傲慢与偏见》中幽默风格的翻译

【摘要】： 小说的文体风格传译，是文学翻译中的重要课题。申丹在其专著《文学文体学与小说翻译》中，从语言形式和文学阐释入手，把小说文体研究与翻译批评结合起来，在国内外翻译界都有一定的开创性意义。受其启发，本文作者选取简·奥斯丁的代表作《傲慢与偏见》及其两个中译本作为比较分析对象，来尝试探讨小说翻译中文体风格对等问题。本文主要内容简介如下：第一章为引言，介绍本文的写作目的，即采用文学文体学作为研究方法，探讨《傲慢与偏见》中幽默风格的等效翻译。第二章分析界定了等效翻译和文学文体学的一些基本理论问题。文学文体学特指以阐释文学文本的主题意义和美学价值为目的的文体学派，注重探讨作者如何通过对语言的选择来表达和加强主题意义和美学效果。该学派认为采用现代语言学的理论和方法有助于更好地掌握语言结构，更深入地理解语言的作用，对语言特征作出精确、系统的描写。文体学的理论观点对小说翻译的批评和实践来说，具有重要的指导意义。第三章从宏观和微观两个层面对《傲慢与偏见》中的幽默风格进行研究，作为第四章案例分析的基础。第四章是本文论述的重点，着重探讨了小说翻译中的一个突出问题"假象对等"。所谓假象对等，是指译文与原文表面看起来所指相同，但实际文学意义或美学价值不同。译者往往忽视原文中偏离常规的语言成分所具有的文体价值，翻译时在词汇、句式或修辞上缺乏相应的处理，造成译文中文体价值的缺损。通过对若干译例的分析，笔者认为，如果译者展开深入的文体分析，，注重从语言形式与主题意义的关系入手来解决问题，许多假象对等是完全可以避免的。最后一章总结了全文，并重申了结论，即文学文体学对小说翻译批评与实践具有重要的指导价值。
[Abstract]:Stylistic interpretation of novels is an important subject in literary translation. In his monograph Literary Stylistics and Fiction Translation, Shen Dan, from the perspective of language form and literary interpretation, combines the study of literary style with the criticism of translation, which is of great significance in translation circles both at home and abroad. Inspired by this, the author chooses Jane Austen's masterpiece Pride and Prejudice and its two Chinese versions as the comparative analysis object to try to explore the equivalence of Chinese style in novel translation. The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows: the first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the purpose of this paper, that is, using literary stylistics as the research method. To explore the equivalent translation of humor style in Pride and Prejudice. Chapter two analyzes and defines some basic theoretical problems of equivalent translation and literary stylistics. Literary stylistics refers to the stylistic school whose purpose is to explain the thematic meaning and aesthetic value of literary texts, focusing on how the author expresses and strengthens the thematic meaning and aesthetic effect through the choice of language. This school holds that the use of modern linguistic theories and methods can help us to better understand the structure of language, understand the role of language in depth, and make accurate and systematic description of language characteristics. The theory of stylistics is of great significance to the criticism and practice of novel translation. The third chapter studies the humor style in Pride and Prejudice from the macro and micro aspects, which is the basis of the case study in Chapter four. Chapter four is the focus of this thesis, which focuses on a prominent problem of fictional equivalence in novel translation. False equivalence means that the translation appears the same as the original text, but the actual literary meaning or aesthetic value is different. Translators tend to ignore the stylistic value of deviating from the conventional linguistic elements in the original text, and lack of corresponding processing in terms of vocabulary, sentence structure or rhetoric in translation, which results in the loss of the Chinese style value of the target text. Through the analysis of some translation examples, the author holds that if the translator carries out in-depth stylistic analysis and focuses on the relationship between language form and subject meaning, many false equivalence can be avoided. The last chapter summarizes the full text and reiterates the conclusion that literary stylistics plays an important role in literary translation criticism and practice.
