公共艺术初论

【摘要】：“公共艺术”是个新的概念,对中国人而言,公共艺术又是一个舶来的概念。 “公共艺术“这个中文名称直接从英文的PublicArt直译而来。公共艺术不只是艺术的问题,一方面,公共性是其发生的前提,另一方面更牵涉到社会价值、都市更新、产业经济等诸多问题。我国在公共艺术领域的理论与实践刚处于起步阶段,概念的认识和具体的实践在不过是近些年的事,似乎现在正迎来社会的广为需求和快速发展的时期。公共艺术概念和实践的导入,是于我国的改革开放密不可分的。从20是70年代末出现中国改革开放以来具有开创性即经典意义的北京首都国际机场大型壁画群到90年代中晚期渐趋涉猎的“公共艺术”概念,伴随着我国(市场)经济的长足发展和政治体制的逐步民主化,以及当代城市化进程和国际间频繁的交流,公共艺术的发展似乎是一个趋势。什么是公共艺术?我国该怎样面对和发展公共艺术? 首先,要对其有充分的了解,才能更好的把握。本文沿着“艺术”和“公共”俩条主脉络,将公共艺术置于当代背景下相关联的全方位视野与国际语境中,一方面把关于公共艺术的概念作为论文的一项重要的研究内容;另一方面由于西方推行公共艺术已经历了相当一段时间,于是列举西方在这方面的经验和较成功案例提供参考。其次,欧美的范例,未必适用于我国的生存空间,必须以本土经验加以调整和修正,才能避免水土不服“”,因而对我国现有公共艺术相关领域的现状进行简单地探析。
[Abstract]:Public art is a new concept, and to the Chinese, public art is an imported concept. The Chinese name "Public Art" comes directly from the English word PublicArt. Public art is not only a matter of art, on the one hand, publicity is the premise of its occurrence, on the other hand, it involves many problems such as social value, urban renewal, industrial economy and so on. The theory and practice in the field of public art in our country is just at the initial stage, the concept of understanding and concrete practice is only in recent years, it seems that now is ushered in a period of widespread demand and rapid development of society. The introduction of the concept and practice of public art is inseparable from the reform and opening up in China. From the groundbreaking, or classic, mural group of Beijing Capital International Airport since the emergence of China's reform and opening up in the late 1970s to the concept of "public art" which gradually dabbled in the middle and late 1990s, With the rapid development of China's (market) economy and the gradual democratization of political system, as well as the process of contemporary urbanization and frequent international exchanges, the development of public art seems to be a trend. What is public art? How should our country face and develop public art? First of all, we should have a full understanding of it, in order to better grasp. Along the two main threads of "art" and "public", this paper puts public art in the context of the contemporary context and international context, on the one hand, the concept of public art as an important research content of the paper; On the other hand, due to the fact that public art has been practiced in the West for quite some time, the experience of the West in this field and its more successful cases are cited for reference. Secondly, the example of Europe and the United States may not be applicable to the living space of our country, we must adjust and revise it with our own experience, so that we can avoid "water and earth do not accept", so we can make a simple analysis of the present situation of the related fields of public art in our country.
