艺术不是什么:从符号学定义艺术

【摘要】：本文试图对定义艺术这个人类思想史上的难题,提出一些新的看法。首先本文简要地总结了迄今为止各种对艺术的定义,把它们分成功能论,表现论,形式论,体制-历史论四种,指出其中的最后一种尽然依然不能令人满意,但一旦与"开放概念"相结合,就比较接近文化符号学的立场。接着本文根据符号表意的性质,分析了艺术的"非天然性,""非实用性",与"非外延性",指出"展示"是文化体制加入艺术意图的常用方式。最后,本文对照这三个"否定式定义"来审视当今文化中的"泛艺术化"现象,指出这种趋势将使艺术无容身之地,也将使文化陷入空前未有的危机。
[Abstract]:This paper attempts to put forward some new views on the definition of art, a difficult problem in the history of human thought. First of all, this paper briefly summarizes various definitions of art, classifies them into functional theory, performance theory, formal theory and system-history theory, and points out that the last one of them is still unsatisfactory. But once combined with open concept, it is close to the position of cultural semiotics. Then, according to the nature of symbolic representation, this paper analyzes the "non-natural," non-practicability "and" non-extrapolation "of art, and points out that" display "is a common way for cultural system to join artistic intention. Finally, this paper examines the phenomenon of "pan-artistry" in today's culture by contrasting the three "negative definitions", and points out that this trend will make art have no place in life, and will also make culture fall into an unprecedented crisis.
