He spits out a little rabbit every day or two, and he spits ten all the time. But he thought that "from ten to eleven is an insurmountable hurdle," so, after he spat out ten rabbits, the story came to an abrupt end. There is no other message-"eleven dead rabbits"-whether or not the eleventh rabbit is the one who spits out the rabbit, but it is certainly a turning point: the rabbit and the man begin to be juxtaposed at this moment. "it" and "I" overlapped, the boundaries between man and animals collapsed and disappeared, and man became one of the animals. Behind the collapse of such borders is a new worldview: true global integration. The earth [Gaia] here is different from the purely geographical "land"
