小说《建筑师》翻译的反思性研究报告

【摘要】：本论文是作者对本人翻译的短篇小说《建筑师》的反思性研究报告。小说的作者是出生于新加坡、现在美国发展的著名诗人、小说家方慧娜。《建筑师》是2010年英格兰某国际小说大赛的获奖作品。 论文首先对所选小说进行了分析，包括原文作者简介和原文文本分析。接着，对翻译的过程进行了简要回顾，概述了翻译过程中遇到的几个难题及其解决办法。第三部分是论文的核心部分，对翻译过程中遇到的主要问题逐一进行实例分析，论证自己所采用的翻译理论、策略或方法，评价翻译效果。该部分具体从八个方面进行了探讨：1.对“信”的追求；2.对“语境”的关注；3.注重不同性格人物的形象塑造；4.几处归化策略的采用；5.对“不可译”的处理；6.适当增译；7.力求译文“地道”；8.网络资源的使用。最后是论文的结语部分，是作者对本次翻译实践的心得体会的概述和对自己译文的总体评价，既总结了自己译文中的亮点，也说明了自己的不足之处，并明确了今后的努力方向。如果本论文对其他翻译员或翻译学习者的实践有些许借鉴意义的话，作者将不胜荣幸。
[Abstract]:This thesis is a reflective study of my translated short story architect. The author of the novel is a famous poet and novelist Fong Huina, born in Singapore and now developed in the United States. Architect is the award-winning work of an international novel contest in England in 2010. The thesis first analyzes the selected novel, including the original author's introduction and the original text analysis. Then, the paper briefly reviews the process of translation, and summarizes several problems encountered in the process of translation and their solutions. The third part is the core part of the thesis. The main problems encountered in the process of translation are analyzed one by one to demonstrate the translation theory, strategies or methods adopted by themselves and evaluate the translation effect. This part has carried on the discussion from eight aspects concretely: 1. The pursuit of "letter"; Pay attention to "context"; 3. Pay attention to the image of different characters; 4. The adoption of several domestication strategies; 5. The treatment of "untranslatable". 7. Strive to translate "tunnel"; 8. The use of network resources. The last part is the conclusion of the thesis, which is a summary of the author's experience in this translation practice and a general evaluation of his own translation, which not only summarizes the highlights of his translation, but also explains his shortcomings. The direction of future efforts is also defined. It would be a great pleasure for the author to draw lessons from the practice of other translators or translation learners.
