【摘要】：作为美国现代诗歌运动的先驱者，埃兹拉庞德以食人主义的姿态，吸收中国文化精髓，，形成别具一格的翻译及创作手法。本文解读了庞德对儒家经典的翻译，揭示出庞德为了给其诗学及政治主张注入养分与活力而采取了食人式的翻译。 儒家经典翻译肯定了庞德的诗学主张，为其意象派提供了实践依据，庞德在翻译过程中对汉字的意象特征及富有哲理的儒家思想的食用，进一步发展了意象派诗学，丰富了庞德的救世之道。语言层面上，通过模拟汉字的意象构成，直接引用汉字及适当模仿汉语句法，庞德的意象理论及语言能量观得以肯定和壮大。独特的庞氏风格，极大挑战了当时的主流文学，体现出食人主义的反抗性。在儒家思想上，庞德学习传承优秀治世传统，吸收并创新儒家秩序观，积极倡导儒家仁政思想，给其政治思想注入了新鲜血液，为当时混乱的社会提供了治世之道。儒家翻译中获取的能量还为庞德的《诗章》创作提供素材，丰富并创新了其诗歌形式。 为了呈现庞德的食人行为，作者进行了众多案例分析，揭示了庞德食人主义背后的目的及意义。庞德不仅吸收外来文化精髓，也强化了儒家思想在西方社会的价值与地位，这在对外来文化的态度，以及本国文化在他国的传播与接受方面有重要的借鉴意义。
