太原市留学生汉语学习动机现状及教学策略研究

【摘要】:学习动机被认为是影响外语学习最重要的因素之一,它不仅可以培养学生的外语学习兴趣,克服学习障碍,还可以增强其自信心和成就感。随着汉语国际地位的不断提高,越来越多的外国人来到中国学习汉语。因此,留学生的汉语学习动机问题一直受到世界上广大教育工作者和研究者的关注。我国对于学习动机的研究重点主要放在不同年龄英语学习者的动机上,而对于来华留学生的汉语学习动机研究还不完善。尤其像山西省太原市这类留学生较少的内陆城市,汉语教学还不成熟。本文以问卷调查的形式,对太原市几所高校及英语培训机构128名汉语学习者的动机情况进行调查分析。分析内容主要分为以下四个章节:第一章,主要引入国内外有关学习动机概念解释,并分为内在动机、外在动机与融入性动机、工具性动机两组。之后对本次调查的问卷设计及实施过程进行系统阐述,主要涉及汉语学习者的基本信息、汉语学习动机以及期望的教学策略等方面,并归纳出受试者的总体情况。第二章,结合初步调查,之后通过SPSS软件进行数据整理分析,对影响太原市汉语学习者学习动机的因素进行了探讨。本文将汉语学习动机要素分为四个方面:1.汉语学习的目的;2.汉语学习过程中的情感因素;3.影响汉语学习动机的外部因素;4.汉语学习者的学习期望。第三章,集中分析动机要素差异性。本文通过SPSS软件的数据分析结果发现,汉语学习者的的家庭背景、性别差异、职业差异、汉语水平差异对学习者的汉语学习产生不同影响。其中,性别差异性在汉语学习动机四要素中体现的最为明显。不同职业、家庭背景和汉语水平的学习者均在汉语学习目的方面体现出较大差异性,而汉语水平不同的学习者,则对今后的汉语学习抱有不同期望。第四章,结合山西省太原市汉语学习现状,探讨解决激发留学生汉语学习动机的策略问题。主要策略有:1.结合学习者的内外动机;2.提高教师本身的人格及教学态度;3.加强中华文化传统教学。研究发现,山西省太原市汉语学习者的主要动机类型是工具性动机,并且内在动机表现明显。学习者普遍对汉语本身怀有较大的兴趣,并且对中国的传统文化、影视音乐作品同样感兴趣,这些内在因素直接影响到其学习的积极性与主动性。依据太原市汉语学习者的学习动机与特点,本文在教师培养、课程设置等方面分别指出激发留学生汉语学习动机有效措施,提出针对性的建议,从而有效激发留学生汉语学习的动机,真正提高汉语教学效果,同时希望对提高汉语教学质量具有一定参考意义。
[Abstract]:Learning motivation is considered to be one of the most important factors affecting foreign language learning. It can not only cultivate students' interest in foreign language learning, but also overcome learning barriers. It can also enhance its self-confidence and sense of achievement. With the continuous improvement of the international status of Chinese, more and more foreigners come to China to learn Chinese. The Chinese learning motivation of foreign students has been concerned by educators and researchers all over the world. The focus of our research on learning motivation is mainly on the motivation of English learners of different ages. However, the study of Chinese learning motivation for Chinese students is not perfect. Especially in inland cities such as Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, the teaching of Chinese is not mature. This paper takes the form of questionnaire survey. This paper investigates and analyzes the motivation of 128 Chinese learners in several universities and English training institutions in Taiyuan. The main contents of the analysis are as follows: chapter one. This paper mainly introduces the concepts of learning motivation at home and abroad, and divides them into three groups: intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, inclusive motivation and instrumental motivation. Mainly related to the basic information of Chinese learners, Chinese learning motivation and expected teaching strategies, and summed up the overall situation of the subjects. Chapter two, combined with a preliminary investigation. After that, the data are processed and analyzed by SPSS software. This paper probes into the factors that affect the learning motivation of Chinese learners in Taiyuan. This paper divides the factors of Chinese learning motivation into four aspects: 1.The purpose of learning Chinese; 2. Affective factors in the process of learning Chinese; 3. The external factors that affect the motivation of learning Chinese; 4. The learning expectation of Chinese learners. Chapter three focuses on the differences of motivational factors. Through the data analysis of SPSS software, it is found that Chinese learners' family background and gender differences. Vocational differences and Chinese proficiency differences have different effects on learners' Chinese learning. Among them, gender differences are the most obvious in the four elements of Chinese learning motivation. Chinese learners with different family background and Chinese proficiency have different Chinese learning goals, while learners with different Chinese proficiency have different expectations for future Chinese learning. Chapter 4th. According to the present situation of Chinese learning in Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province, this paper discusses how to solve the strategic problem of motivating foreign students to learn Chinese. The main strategies are: 1. Combining learners' internal and external motivation; 2. Improving teachers' personality and teaching attitude; 3.Strengthening the traditional teaching of Chinese culture. The study found that the main motivation type of Chinese learners in Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province is instrumental motivation. Learners generally have a greater interest in Chinese itself, and are also interested in Chinese traditional culture, film and television music works. These internal factors directly affect their learning enthusiasm and initiative. According to the learning motivation and characteristics of Taiyuan Chinese learners, this paper is in the teacher training. The curriculum and other aspects respectively point out the effective measures to stimulate the motivation of foreign students to learn Chinese, put forward targeted suggestions, so as to effectively stimulate the motivation of Chinese learning of foreign students, and truly improve the effectiveness of Chinese teaching. At the same time, hope to improve the quality of Chinese teaching has certain reference significance.
