转喻对足球队别称命名机制的作用研究

【摘要】:几乎每一个足球队都有自己的别称。这些特殊的别称生动地代表不同的足球队。别称是根据一个人或者事物的突显特征,通过隐喻和转喻映射重新命名。本文研究的足球队别称的命名机制是通过转喻表现出来的,因此,足球队别称本身就是一种转喻现象。随着认知语言学的发展,大多数语言学家倾向于研究隐喻,而忽视了转喻对人类认知世界的作用。截至目前,许多学者从隐喻或转喻的视角研究国家名、人名、地名、动物名、植物名等多个层面对别称进行了探讨,但很少涉及从转喻的视角研究足球队名的别称,更没相关文章系统论述国家足球队名和足球俱乐部队别称。本文尝试在认知语言学转喻的基础上,基于理想化认知模型(ICM),以此作为理论框架,详细分析转喻对足球队别称命名机制的作用。 本文分为五个章节,内容如下: 第一章为总论,包括选题意义,研究目标,研究方法和论文布局。 第二章为文献综述,,分别概述了传统语言学和认知语言学视角下转喻的概念、分类和工作机制。 第三章为理论框架,通过对转喻和隐喻的对比,概括出转喻是在同一个ICM内理解“部分与整体的关系”,而隐喻是基于一个ICM向另一个ICM的映射。本文尝试证明别称是一种转喻现象,并试用理想化认知模型(ICM)来分析别称,即“部分代替整体”。 第四章为语料分析与讨论,建立俱乐部足球别称的语料库,并基于ICM转喻机制对语料进行统计、分析、解释。通过分析,总结出六种影响别称命名的因素和足球队别称的四个功能。 第五章为结论,指出本文运用ICM机制详析足球队别称具有一定的理论和实践意义。本文贡献有四: (一)从转喻的视角系统分析国家足球队和足球俱乐部别称,以ICM为理论框架,统一分析、解释转喻对足球队别称命名机制的作用。 (二)建立国家足球队和足球俱乐部别称的语料,并对其按类别进行分析,从而发现,足球队别称的命名机制是基于特征突显的部分代替整支球队的原名。通过按类别分析语料,总结出六种影响别称命名的因素,即所在地理位置、国旗颜色或队徽图案、历史、文化、球衣颜色、球队战绩。 (三)本文发现足球队别称的四项功能:1.通过别称直观的揭示球队的特点、2.通过别称了解球队或者国家的文化和历史、3.在日常交流中,别称可以简化复杂的原名、4.通过别称鼓励球员士气。 由此可见,转喻对别称命名的作用不仅仅是一种语言现象,更不是简单的修辞,而是反应了人们认知世界的思维方式,更是一个民族智慧、精神、文化的表达方式。 最后,本文指出欠缺之处,并为以后的研究提出点滴建议,希望引起其他学者对转喻和别称研究的兴趣。
[Abstract]:Almost every football team has its own nickname. These special nicknames vividly represent different football teams. The nickname is based on the salience of a person or thing. Through metaphor and metonymy mapping renaming. The naming mechanism of football team nickname is shown by metonymy. Therefore, football team nickname itself is a metonymy phenomenon. With the development of cognitive linguistics. Most linguists tend to study metaphor and neglect the role of metonymy in human cognition of the world. Up to now, many scholars have studied national names, human names, geographical names and animal names from the perspective of metaphor or metonymy. Plant names and other aspects of the study of nicknames, but rarely involving from the perspective of metonymy to study football team names. There is no related article on the national football team name and football club name. This paper tries to use it as the theoretical framework based on the cognitive linguistic metonymy and the idealized cognitive model. The function of metonymy on the naming mechanism of soccer team is analyzed in detail. This paper is divided into five chapters, as follows: The first chapter is an overview, including the significance of the topic, research objectives, research methods and the layout of the paper. Chapter two is a literature review, which summarizes the concept, classification and working mechanism of metonymy from the perspective of traditional linguistics and cognitive linguistics. The third chapter is the theoretical framework, through the comparison of metonymy and metaphor, it is concluded that metonymy understands "the relationship between part and whole" in the same ICM. Metaphor is based on the mapping from one ICM to the other. This paper attempts to prove that the nickname is a metonymy phenomenon, and uses the idealized cognitive model to analyze the nickname, that is, "partial substitution for the whole". . Chapter 4th is the corpus analysis and discussion, the establishment of club football nickname corpus, and based on the ICM metonymy mechanism for the statistical, analysis, interpretation. Through analysis. This paper summarizes six kinds of factors that influence the nickname and the four functions of football team's nickname. Chapter 5th is the conclusion. It is pointed out that it is of certain theoretical and practical significance to use ICM mechanism to analyze football team nicknames. The contributions of this paper are as follows: (1) A systematic analysis of the nicknames of national football teams and football clubs from the perspective of metonymy, with ICM as the theoretical framework, to explain the role of metonymy in the naming mechanism of football teams. (2) to establish the corpus of the national football team and the football club, and to analyze them according to their categories, and to find out. The naming mechanism of football team's nickname is based on the part of feature salience to replace the original name of the whole team. By analyzing the corpus according to the category, the author summarizes six factors that affect the naming of the nickname, that is, the geographical location. Flag color or team emblem design, history, culture, jersey color, team record. (3) this paper finds out the four functions of football team. 1. To reveal the characteristics of the team directly through another name. 2. To understand the culture and history of the team or country through another name. 3. In daily communication. Another name can simplify the complicated original name, using another name to encourage the morale of the players. It can be seen that metonymy is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but also a reflection of the way of thinking of people to understand the world, and it is also a national wisdom and spirit. The expression of culture. Finally, this paper points out the shortcomings and puts forward some suggestions for further research, hoping to arouse the interest of other scholars in the study of metonymy and metonymy.
