雅安市雨城区外宣材料翻译实践报告

【摘要】:外宣翻译,顾名思义是以宣传为目的,将所需信息翻译成目的语的一种翻译实践。对外宣传是政府乃至国家对外塑造和传播形象的窗口,对提升国际社会中的话语权意义重大。然而外宣翻译不同于一般意义的翻译,它具有明显的自身特征。只有译者功底深厚,翻译工作细致,中国博大精深的文化才能被全球各国认同。但是不同国家地区的文化差异常常会让译者陷入两难,怎样才能做到准确传达意义的同时不失去文化交际的功能,翻译在这时起的往往就不再简单的是传递字面意义的功能了。本文就将以笔者参与的雅安市雨城区区委宣传部外宣材料翻译的实践为例,节选其中有指导意义的篇章进行分析。首先陈述报告目的、意义以及结构,再介绍本次所用外宣翻译材料的来源并对材料内容进行简单阐述。随后在译前准备一章中阐述笔者针对所使用的外宣材料做了哪些准备,并分析了这些材料的语言特点。再用实例解析通过增译、减译、直译、意译等方法便可以灵活应对上文中提到的这些语言特点。最后笔者通过反思与自我审视,归纳总结了处理外宣材料的经验和教训,期望通过该报告对今后的外宣翻译实践提供帮助。
[Abstract]:Foreign publicity translation, as its name implies, is a translation practice in which the needed information is translated into the target language for the purpose of propaganda. Foreign propaganda is a window for the government and even the country to shape and disseminate the image to the outside world. It is of great significance to enhance the right to speak in the international community. However, the translation of foreign propaganda is different from translation in general meaning, and it has its own characteristics. Only the translator has a deep foundation and detailed translation work. China's broad and profound culture can be recognized by all over the world. However, cultural differences between different countries and regions often pose a dilemma for translators how to convey meaning accurately without losing the function of cultural communication. Translation at this time is often no longer simply the function of transmitting literal meaning. This article will take the practice of translation of publicity materials from the propaganda Department of Yucheng District of Ya'an City as an example. Extract and analyze the text that is instructive. First, state the purpose, meaning, and structure of the report. Then it introduces the source of the translation materials used in this paper and briefly expounds the content of the materials. Then in the chapter of preparation before translation, the author explains what preparations the author has made for the foreign publicity materials used. The author also analyzes the linguistic characteristics of these materials, and then uses examples to analyze the language characteristics mentioned above by adding, subtracting, literal and free translation, etc. Finally, through reflection and self-examination, the author tries to analyze the linguistic characteristics of these materials. This paper summarizes the experiences and lessons of dealing with foreign publicity materials, and expects that the report will be helpful to the practice of foreign publicity translation in the future.
