评价理论视角下护士反思话语的人际意义分析

【摘要】:从社会学角度看,语言标识了社会等级、地位、角色、亲疏关系,其人际意义的研究是话语分析的一个重要方面。韩礼德在系统功能语法的框架下,从语气和情态方面考察人际意义。马丁在此基础上提出评价理论,为人们研究如何运用语言资源表达立场、态度和观点提供了方法论。 本论文将“护士反思话语”定义为从业护士对护理行业的评论,涉及护士与相关人士的关系、护士的公众形象及职业观念。它以数十名美国从业护士的评论为研究对象,从评价理论的视角对其体现的人际意义进行定性分析,,揭示了评价资源的运用与人际意义的实现之间的联系。 本论文通过对隐性、显性评价资源,介入资源,级差资源的分析,发现护士反思话语实现了三大人际意义:第一,由于权势不对等造成的疏离;第二,与外部声音的协商;第三:试图在社会中建立人际和谐。具体来说:护士利用隐性的评价资源,负面的态度资源等暗示她们与相关人员的疏离;利用介入资源(尤其是话语的多声)与外部声音进行协商;利用级差资源调节话语的力度来构建人际和谐。 本论文所分析的人际意义能够帮助大众了解美国护理行业从业者对本职工作的评价。而这一认识在一定程度上为改善护士的公众形象,提高护士的工作动机,促进护理行业的健康发展提供了可能性。
[Abstract]:From a sociological point of view, language identifies social rank, status, role, affinity, and the study of its interpersonal meaning is an important aspect of discourse analysis.Under the framework of systemic functional grammar, Halliday examines interpersonal meaning in terms of mood and modality.On this basis, Martin puts forward the evaluation theory, which provides a methodology for people to study how to use language resources to express their positions, attitudes and viewpoints.This paper defines "nurse introspection discourse" as the nurse's comment on nursing profession, including the relationship between nurse and related person, the public image and professional concept of nurse.Taking the comments of dozens of American nurses as the research object, it qualitatively analyzes the interpersonal meaning from the perspective of evaluation theory, and reveals the relationship between the use of evaluation resources and the realization of interpersonal meaning.Through the analysis of recessive, explicit evaluation resources, intervention resources and differential resources, this paper finds that nurses' reflective discourse realizes three interpersonal meanings: first, alienation caused by unequal power, second, negotiation with external voice;Third: trying to establish interpersonal harmony in society.Specifically, nurses use recessive evaluation resources, negative attitude resources to imply their alienation from relevant personnel, use intervention resources (especially multi-tone of discourse) to negotiate with external voices;Use differential resources to adjust the power of discourse to build interpersonal harmony.The interpersonal meaning analyzed in this paper can help the public to understand the job evaluation of American nursing practitioners.To a certain extent, this knowledge provides the possibility for improving the public image of nurses, enhancing their working motivation and promoting the healthy development of nursing profession.
