《红楼梦》英译本中虚义动词结构的使用与成因研究

【摘要】：本文旨在考察《红楼梦》三个英译本中虚义动词结构使用的异同点以及成因。研究发现,相对于杨译本和霍译本,乔译本中虚义动词结构的使用在各个方面均占绝对优势。另一方面,《红楼梦》英译中该结构的使用可能受诸多因素的影响,包括原著所体现的汉语语法特点、原著中非正式化的语境、译者的文体考虑、译者的职业背景等。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this paper is to investigate the similarities, differences and causes of the use of fictional verbs in the three English versions of A Dream of Red Mansions. It is found that the use of fictional verb structures in Qiao version is superior to that in Yang's and Huo's versions. On the other hand, the use of this structure in the English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions may be influenced by many factors, including the grammatical features of the Chinese language embodied in the original, the informal context in the original, the stylistic considerations of the translator, and the professional background of the translator.
