[Abstract]:The main purpose of this study is to analyze the authors' profiles of the three sampling sites in mainland China, Taiwan and the United States, to investigate the general situation of the three sample sites, their differences and reasons, and to conclude what items are involved in the author's brief introduction. This paper discusses the structure of a book author's introduction to the three sampling points and puts forward some suggestions on how to write a brief introduction. Many of the 450 profiles of the three sampling sites are roughly the same, for example, the items set in the authors' briefs of the three sampling sites are basically the same, but there are great differences in some aspects. The per capita occurrence rate of the author's other works is 1.52 times in the mainland, 0.69 times in Taiwan and 0.65 times in Britain and America. The average appearance rate was 1.30 times in China, 0.08 times in Taiwan and 0.30 times in Britain and America. In Taiwan, 82.82% of the authors mentioned their graduate school, 66.67% in the mainland and 22.90% in the Anglo-American region. In Taiwan, 77.09% of the authors mentioned their titles, 63.22% in the mainland and 71.50% in the Anglo-American region. In the brief introduction of the Anglo-American region, the titles and academic posts are the most mentioned items, 52.34% of the authors refer to their academic positions, while 37.93% and 33.92% of the authors in the mainland and Taiwan respectively mention their academic posts. If more mention means more attention, then the mainland region attaches the most importance to displaying the authors' works and their respective awards, Taiwan pays the most attention to showing the author's graduate schools and academic qualifications, and the Anglo-American region attaches the most importance to the display of the author's professional title and academic position. Researchers in Britain and America use more cooperative research methods, followed by Taiwan and the mainland, and the authors from mainland and Taiwan pay more attention to introducing themselves by using photos than British and American authors. The fact that there are vacancies in the mainland region, which concerns families, may indicate that people in the mainland do not attach so much importance to their families as they might think. In mainland China, compared with Taiwan and the United States, the use of approximate numbers is not only more frequent, but also more common. This may indicate that the expression in the mainland is more ambiguous than in the other places (the use of accurate numbers can make the expression more accurate); some writers in the mainland are suspected of worshipping authority, such as the reproduction of one of their works by the National people's Congress. The vast majority of profiles in the mainland are stylized (compared with idiosyncratic profiles with novel formats or narrative languages), and Taiwan's formulaic profiles account for more than 70 per cent of the points. There is no type in the introduction to the UK and America, only the number of words and the number of items. Suggestion: in order to facilitate the communication and communication between the reader and the author, it is necessary to keep the effective contact information of the author in the author's profile. What items should be included in a book author's profile should be defined according to the category of books, that is, academic books should focus on the author's field of academic research, research interests or academic perspectives, research methods and recent research findings, Non-academic professional books can be handled flexibly according to the author's actual situation.
