关联理论视角下的中英文网络语言研究

【摘要】：关联理论被视为认知语用学的理论基础(何自然、冉永平,1998),是由法国认知科学家斯珀伯(D. Sperber)与英国心理学家威尔森(D. Wilson)于1986年在他们的著作《关联：认知与交际》中提出的。两人在书中提出了一条关联原则,用于解释交际双方如何识别对方的话语意图,产生话语,从而实现自然的交流。关联理论二十多年来对语用学领域产生了深远的影响,成为一大热门理论。网络语言作为一种在互联网中传播和使用的特殊语言,从它诞生的那一刻起就引起了部分语言学家的关注。随着互联网的发展,网民数量的增加,中、英文网络语言已经成为互联网上两大网络语言载体,并广泛地渗透到了人们日常的交际当中。针对它们的研究近年来也成为一大热门。鉴于此,两大研究热门的结合,即从关联理论的角度来探索中英文网络语言如何实现交际功能具有重要的意义。本文属于定性研究。旨在运用关联理论的几大要点,即：语境的选择,关联的因素,认知环境与相互显映,明示—推理交际,对互联网上流行的具有代表性的中、英文网络语言进行分析,找出网络语言使用者如何通过这一特殊语言进行交际。研究结果表明：第一,网络环境的特殊性促使交际双方形成了一系列设想,这一系列设想构成了双方的总语境。第二,网络语言能被双方理解在于它的关联性,这一关联性与它自身带来的语境效果和需要的认知努力有关。第三,网络语言使用者在认知环境中的相互显映保证了交际的成功。第四,网络语言使用者交际的过程是一个发话人明示与受话人推理的过程。话语的最佳关联性符合交际双方的共同利益,具有经济性。
[Abstract]:Relevance theory is regarded as the theoretical basis of cognitive pragmatics (he Nature, ran Yongping, 1998). It was proposed by (D. Sperber), a French cognitive scientist, and (D. Wilson), a British psychologist, in their book relevance: cognition and Communication in 1986. In the book, the two men put forward a principle of relevance, which is used to explain how the communicative parties can recognize the intention of each other's utterance and produce the utterance so as to realize the natural communication. Relevance theory has had a profound influence on the field of pragmatics for more than 20 years and has become a hot theory. As a special language which is spread and used in the Internet, Internet language has attracted the attention of some linguists since it was born. With the development of the Internet and the increase of the number of Internet users, Chinese and English network languages have become the two major network language carriers on the Internet, and have been widely infiltrated into people's daily communication. Research on them has also become a hot topic in recent years. In view of this, it is of great significance to explore how Chinese and English network language can achieve communicative function from the perspective of relevance theory. This paper belongs to qualitative research. The purpose of this paper is to apply the main points of relevance theory, namely, the choice of context, the factors of relevance, the cognitive environment and mutual reflection, the ostensive-inferential communication, and the analysis of the popular Chinese and English network languages on the Internet. Find out how network language users communicate through this particular language. The results show that: first, the particularity of the network environment causes the communicative parties to form a series of assumptions, which constitute the overall context of both parties. Second, network language can be understood by both sides because of its relevance, which is related to its contextual effects and the cognitive effort it needs. Thirdly, the interaction of network language users in cognitive environment ensures the success of communication. Fourthly, the communication process of network language users is a process of inferring between the addressee and the addressee. The optimal relevance of utterance conforms to the common interests of both sides of communication and is economical.
