中国禅诗隐喻：认知个案研究

【摘要】：禅宗是印度佛教和中国固有的传统文化相结合的产物，自问世以来就在思想、文化、艺术领域绽开了缤纷的花朵。而诗与禅的完美结合，无疑是其中最绚丽多姿而又久开不败的奇葩。中国传统诗歌多借物抒情、托物言志，而禅诗侧重表现禅理、禅趣。禅诗在表现手法上有传统诗歌的特点，但其哲理更深、意境更高，其中包含了丰富的隐喻，较传统的中国诗歌更加悔涩难懂。隐喻与诗歌有着千丝万缕的联系,隐喻在诗歌中普遍运用，是诗歌中不可或缺的一部分。传统语言学认为，隐喻是一种修辞，，在话语中起到修饰的作用。近年来，认知语言学理论不断被运用在文学研究领域，尤其是Lakoff (1980)等人从认知语言学的角度对隐喻的认知功能进行研究，开辟了隐喻研究的新天地。隐喻不再仅被看作是一种修辞，更被看作是一种认知方式。现有的禅诗研究主要集中在对文学批评和语用学角度，而从认知角度对禅诗的研究则较少涉及。本文尝试运用近年来隐喻研究的成果，主要是以Lakoff与Johnson (1980)提出的概念隐喻理论为基础，通过文献文本分析法、分类法，举例分析禅诗中的隐喻，探讨中国禅诗中隐喻的来源和特点，最后对寒山禅诗中的概念隐喻进行个案分析，总结出“修道是日常事务”、“佛性是日月”、“自性是水”、“悟道是登山”和“植物隐喻”等五大概念隐喻。本文旨在通过对禅诗中不同概念隐喻的分析，进一步证实概念隐喻的普遍性，同时加深对概念隐喻的认识，理解隐喻思维与语言的关系。作者希望通过在本论文中禅诗的隐喻分析，对禅文化的传播和发展起到一定的促进作用。
[Abstract]:Zen Buddhism is a combination of Indian Buddhism and Chinese traditional culture. Since its birth, Zen Buddhism has bloomed in the fields of thought, culture and art. The perfect combination of poetry and Zen is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and undefeated flowers. Chinese traditional poetry expresses feelings by means of things, while Zen poems emphasize on expressing Zen principles and interests. Zen poetry has the characteristics of traditional poetry in expression, but its philosophy is deeper and its artistic conception is higher. It contains abundant metaphors and is more repentant than traditional Chinese poetry. Metaphor is inextricably linked with poetry. Metaphor is widely used in poetry and is an indispensable part of poetry. According to traditional linguistics, metaphor is a kind of rhetoric which plays a role of modification in discourse. In recent years, the theory of cognitive linguistics has been continuously applied in the field of literary studies, especially by Lakoff (1980) and others, from the perspective of cognitive linguistics to study the cognitive function of metaphor, opened up a new field of metaphor research. Metaphor is not only regarded as rhetoric, but also as a way of cognition. The existing studies of Zen poems mainly focus on literary criticism and pragmatics, while cognitive studies on Zen poems are less involved. Based on the conceptual metaphor theory proposed by Lakoff and Johnson (1980), this paper attempts to use the achievements of metaphor research in recent years to analyze metaphors in Zen poems by means of literature text analysis and classification. This paper probes into the source and characteristics of metaphor in Chinese Zen poems, and finally analyzes the conceptual metaphors in Hanshan Zen poems, and concludes that "Taoism is daily affairs", "Buddha nature is sun and moon" and "self nature is water". Savvy is the five major conceptual metaphors, such as mountaineering and plant metaphors. Through the analysis of different conceptual metaphors in Zen poems, this paper aims to further confirm the universality of conceptual metaphors, at the same time deepen the understanding of conceptual metaphors and understand the relationship between metaphorical thinking and language. The author hopes that the metaphorical analysis of Zen poems in this thesis will promote the spread and development of Zen culture.
