基于语料库的中美领导人新年致辞人际意义比较分析

中美国家领导人每年发表新年致辞已成惯例,而如今新年致辞不只是一种形式,更具有实质内容。领导人通过这些讲话可以实现一系列的政治目标,如缩短与公民之间的距离,消除误解,赢得更多的信任和支持等,因此新年致辞受到越来越多学者的关注。但不同国家领导人发表的新年致辞又存在异同点,尤其是用来实现人际意义的语言资源。本文拟从评价理论出发,对中美两国领导人近年来发表的的新年致辞进行比较分析。澳大利亚语言学家James R.Martin提出的评价理论是系统功能语法中人际功能研究的延伸,关注的是运用语言表达态度和观点的资源。该理论包含三大主系统:态度、介入和级差。本文将新年致辞分为两组:中国组和美国组。在语言学软件UAM CorpusTool的帮助下,本文以评价理论为框架,结合定性研究和定量研究方法,比较分析中美两国领导人自2002年至2018年间对外公开发表的34篇新年致辞,试图找出:(1)两国在评价资源的使用上有何种分布特征;(2)两国新年致辞中使用评价资源实现人际意义的异同点;(3)导致评价资源使用差异的原因。本文通过比较分析语料得出以下结论:首先,两组语篇中都运用了大量的态度资源,但美国领导人的致辞...
