语法隐喻视角下英汉感知句对比研究

感知是指人类通过其感官对外部世界的认知和理解。作为一种高级的身体和智力活动,对人类经验具有重要作用。本文在功能语言学语法隐喻理论框架下,对英汉感知句做了对比研究。感知句的一致式应符合以下语义标准:主参与者为感知者,具有生命性和相应的感知能力,次参与者为现象,具有可被感性。按照违反标准的不同区分出感知句的隐喻式,进而对英汉常见感知隐喻句进行及物性过程分析并对比。通过分析,我们得出如下结论:首先,英汉感知句从一致式到隐喻式都经历了“所感（seeing）”到“所知（knowing）”到“所历（experiencing）”的过程,动词的施事性逐渐增强。一致式与隐喻式具有形似性的过程转移主要出现在心理过程内部之间的投射。一致式与隐喻式不具有形似性的非形似类语法隐喻的隐喻式为感知句,一致式为物质句,发生在由视觉域向物质域投射过程中。在对英汉语感知句进行及物性分析过程中发现跨域投射既可以发生在不同及物性过程之间,也可以发生在同一过程不同次过程之间。其次,感知句的隐喻式所用动词为基本范畴词和概况语义词,而非含具体动作义特征的感知词。例如英语“看”类动词中只有see和witness可以发生隐喻,而gla...
