海洋科技领域的口译及其译员素质的培养

  随着世界经济的飞速发展,世界各国在文化、政治、科技等领域的交流变得日益频繁和迫切。英语作为世界通用语言显得格外重要,而要加强各国之间的交流,口译作为使用不同语言的人们顺畅交流的桥梁,越来越成为语言类人才择业的重要考虑对象和译学界共同关注的焦点。在科学技术领域,随着科技的飞速发展,该领域对口译员的需求迅速增大。作为科学技术领域的一个重要分支,海洋科技在当今社会发挥着很重要的角色,与人们的生活息息相关。众所周知,21世纪是海洋的世纪,当前在自然资源特别是水资源匮乏的今天,海水淡化、废水回收等课题都是各国海洋科学家所关注的重点,这些问题的解决越来越需要世界各国的科学家通力合作,寻求最有效地解决方法,帮助人类解决淡水资源缺乏的问题。随着世界各国海洋科技工作者交流的加深,该领域的口译员需求越来越旺盛。以青岛为例,凭借着自身优越的地理位置和中国海洋大学的知名度,每年都会举行海洋科技与经济发展国际论坛。所以对海洋科技领域的口译员的培养进行探讨是有必要的,以此来填补将来此类人才的需求与供应不足的情况。中国在口译方面的研究始于十九世纪八十年代,目前我们已有不少口译和口译员培训方面成型的理论。然而,现在还...
