一词多义语用充实现象的关联理论研究

一词多义作为一个普遍存在的语言现象,受到语言学家的广泛关注。不同语言学派从不同的视角对此进行了研究,然而以往的研究对于解释一词多义现象的语用认知机制都存在着一定的不足和弊端。本文在关联理论的框架下,从词汇语用学的角度对一词多义现象的语用充实问题进行解释。词汇语用学主要关注话语理解中的词汇意义。它具有不确定性并与诸如语境和百科知识等诸多因素有密切的关系。语用充实作为词汇语用学的重要研究领域,指出了话语理解是听话人从说话人的话语进行推理的过程而不是简单的编码和解码。语用充实包括语用收缩和语用扩充。语用收缩是指单词词义在语境中所指范围或含义的缩小,语用扩充则指单词词义在语境中所指范围或含义的扩大。在关联理论的框架下,本文试图建立一个模型来解释一词多义现象的语用充实。认知语境是听话人理解和完成一词多义现象语用充实的前提和基础,基于说话人和听话人共同的认知语境,当听话人收到来自说话人的明示刺激后,便会自动进入推理过程。听话人将会处理所有的相关信息以获得话语中一词多义的最佳关联。在获得一词多义的最佳关联后,听话人将据此关联去寻找词汇意义满足自己的期待,如果词义不能满足期待,听话人需要付出更多的努力...
