基于语料库的英汉颜色词“红”的隐喻对比研究

　　隐喻研究一直是语言学家关注的焦点所在。在传统研究中,隐喻被认为是一种语言修辞手段。随着研究的深入,语言学家逐渐认识到隐喻是一种重要的认知工具。莱柯夫和约翰逊（1980）提出的概念隐喻理论指出隐喻是从一个具体的概念域（始源域）到一个抽象的概念域（目标域）的系统映射,是一种基于身体体验的认知机制,普遍存在于人们的语言和生活中。本文以概念隐喻理论为依据,基于中英各一个语料库系统地对比研究英汉颜色词,以“红”的隐喻现象为例,试图填补、完善认知概念隐喻在颜色词方面的全面系统研究。笔者首先对语料库中英汉颜色词隐喻用法的频率进行统计,并着重对比研究“红”色的隐喻现象,探讨了颜色词“红”隐喻的理论基础、隐喻机制以及英汉语言在“红”色隐喻方面存在的共性和差异,并从文化角度分析研究的结果。通过对比研究发现：①总体来说,英语颜色词的隐喻用法比例低于汉语。英语颜色词的隐喻集中在“黑”、“红”和“绿”色的隐喻,而汉语颜色词隐喻则集中于“黑”、“红”和“白”色。②英汉语颜色词“红”的隐喻之间既存在共性,也存在差异。一方面,英汉语“红”色隐喻共享了一部分隐喻映射,如都映射在情感、灾难、政治和经济域,且在一小部分靶域...
