进化与融合:中西语言学元语言关键词系统对比研究

为了解决语言学中的各种问题,有必要回顾语言学发展的过程,把握基本的历史关联,并透视其发展与进化的规律。在某种程度上,只有弄清楚语言学产生和发展的经过,了解在历史上曾经提出过那些语言学问题,作过哪些探索,我们才能充分理解语言学的现状,进而研究如何促使它沿着正确的轨道迅速地发展。然而,姚小平指出,“国内专门研究中国语言学史的人很少,专门研究西方语言学史的人也数得出来,而既研究中国,又研究西方,并且把中西两块串接起来,做些比较研究的人,就更少了(姚小平,2006:61)。”我们的研究,用对比的方法,从元语言和语言学元语言关键词系统的角度切入,研究中西语言学的整体发展状况,是一个全新的视角。通过对中西语言学元语言关键词系统的爬梳,纵览语言学发展的历史和现状并预测其未来发展的趋势。就研究课题的名称而言,这一研究属于语言学史的研究;更具体地讲,是中西语言学史的综合对比研究。在前人相关研究的基础上,我们选择“语言学元语言关键词系统”作为第三对比项,运用对比语言学和历史语言学的相关理论和方法,对中西语言学史上主流语言学在学科发展的关键时期的兴衰进行系统观察,透视了语言学发展中理论与方法的继承与兴替;同...
