女性主义翻译观的局限性分析

　　翻译研究作为一门新兴的年轻学科,只是最近三、四十年来才真正地在学术领域占有一席之地,但其发展之快却不得不让人瞩目。女性主义在其发展过程中受到了解构主义,后殖民主义,文化学等现代理论的影响,可以说女性主义实际上是后结构主义思想和后现代理论的一部分。在这种大思潮的背景影响下,其不可避免的带有后现代主义的典型特点：颠覆,消解,反中心等。女性主义翻译观作为一种政治手段,为女性争取民主,争取权利；此外,女性主义翻译理论从文化的角度重新审视翻译研究,使我们意识到翻译是历史,文化,意义等各种差异碰撞和交锋的场所,使我们把研究的焦点由传统翻译研究中“忠实与非忠实”的争论转向关注弱势文化和边缘文化,注意翻译的价值取向和意识形态,为翻译研究提供了新的思路。然而,作为一种学科理论,女性主义翻译观并不具备理论价值,它存在着致命的缺陷和弊端,表现在以下几点：立论在逻辑根基上是经不起推敲的；其采用神话作为文化渊源,缺乏普遍说服力；在具体的翻译方法上较为主观。就翻译研究而言,女性主义翻译观是不成立的。
