评价性词语的语义生成：自然语义元法

评价性词语在人们日常交流中使用十分频繁,它表示个人对某人行为或态度,以及对某个事物或情况的评价。自然语义元法指出,每一个社会都有一些能够为日常生活提供价值导向并对人们的判断和行为进行指导的评价性词语。很多学者都对评价性词语进行过探讨和研究,对评价性词语的定义也各有不同。本文把评价性词语定义为：说话者对一个人的行为或态度,一个事物或者某种情况的客观性评价,这种评价是积极的评价,并且能够代表受评价人或事的主要特点。由于评价词语使用数量之多,本文通过对美国人进行访谈和问卷的方式,确定了五个最具典型的评价性词语。它们是：beautiful, wonderful, amazing, cool和fantastic。本文试图通过语用化来解释评价性词语的语义生成过程：一个词语最初的语义会在不同的语境中产生新的语用义,当新的语用义被人们所接受并广泛使用时,它就会产生新的语义并最终收录于字典中,形成字典义。本文在以通过大量美国电视节目和电影建立的语料库基础之上,运用自然语义元对每个评价性词语做出了相关的语义解释。从这些分析出的含义和解释中,我们可以清楚的辨析这些评价性词语之间存在的细微差别。通过牛津英语字...
