中美领导人就气候话题讲话中情态责任的对比分析

本文以2009年中美领导人就气候变化问题的讲话为例,运用韩礼徳的系统功能语法和马丁的评价理论相结合的理论框架试对情态责任在该类语篇中的应用进行分析。本文首先对比了中美领导人在该类演讲语篇中情态责任实现方式的异同点。在韩礼徳的系统功能语法层面,本文主要关注情态责任在语气、情态和指示语转换中的体现;而在评价理论层面,本文从介入和分级两方面考察情态责任的人际意义,并总结了一些显著特征,如:英文语料中情态责任强弱性配置呈现一定技巧,中文语料情态责任表达更为严肃夸张等。其次,本文也在中美意识形态层面进行了比较分析,并试图为语言层面的差异做出诠释。本文最终为了说明情态责任的表现方式富于灵活性,以政治演讲为例,流露于该类文体的情态责任具有一定社会符号性,体现了作者或说话人的文化背景,社会地位和他对社会现象的看法。这启发我们透过情态责任更好地解读类似的政治语篇及语篇中的政治态度。此外,情态责任的研究也为语用策略和语篇的意识形态认知开辟了一片新领域。
