奥巴马演讲中话语标记语的功能分析

　　Deborah Schiffrin从话语出发,首先为话语标记语提供了操作性定义,认为话语标记语是依存于前言后语、划分说话单位的坐标。自从1987年她的《话语标记》一书发表以来,语言学界对话语标记语的研究进入了“高速发展的工业时代”。然而在话语标记语的研究方面并未形成统一的方法,其主要的分歧主要表现在名称、特点及功能等方面。在话语标记语的研究过程中,从语篇连贯层面研究的学者们主要是从句法角度研究话语标记语的句法功能和语义含义;在语篇连贯框架下研究其概念意义和对加强话语连贯方面的作用。从这个角度研究话语标记语的学者们对于构建语篇局部连贯和整体连贯的功能已经达成一定共识。因此,本文以Schiffrin的话语连贯的研究方法为框架,探索话语标记语在语篇中局部连贯关系和整体连贯关系。本文以话语标记语的三大功能为理论框架,从定义、特征、研究方法等各个方面进行分析。本文从政治演讲中选取语料,对美国总统奥巴马的演讲中的话语标记语进行分析,从中研究其在演讲语篇中的话语连贯功能以及奥巴马使用话语标记的特点。
