【摘要】：意识形态对翻译的影响由来已久，对这个问题的深入研究却也只是近些年来的事。传统的翻译研究注重文本对比和对翻译标准的厘定和遵守，视野相对狭窄。随着文化学派的兴起，研究者的目光不再局限于此，文本生产与外部世界的关系受到越来越多的关注。 本论文研究意识形态对翻译的影响，共有六章。 第一章绪论。介绍本论文要研究的问题及其背景和意义。 第二章文献综述。首先评述了以原文为中心的传统翻译研究模式，指出其局限；然后介绍了译界的“文化转向”，回顾了前人再意识形态与翻译问题上的研究，重点介绍了勒菲弗尔(André Lefevere)的翻译理论。勒菲弗尔提出，翻译是重写，意识形态、赞助人和诗学是影响翻译的重要因素。 第三章分析了勒菲弗尔理论的意义和局限，指出对意识形态和翻译的研究拓宽了翻译研究领域，深化了人们对翻译本质的认识，但依然存在一些问题，关键是意识形态的概念不够明确。虽然“意识形态”本身就很复杂，对它的研究也多种多样而无定论，但在进一步研究它对翻译的影响之前，，对它作一番研究和说明是必不可少的工作。本章回顾了“意识形态”一词的来源和发展，明确了它在本文中的含义，粗浅地探讨了它是如何作用于人(包括译者)的。最后一节是翻译过程介绍。作者建议从翻译的不同阶段研究研究“意识形态”对它的影响。 第四章意识形态与翻译策略。翻译策略包括前期的选材和译者决定采取的翻译方法，如归化、异化等。本章以史实为依据，分析了意识形态对翻译选材的影响，探讨了译者的翻译动机、文化态度和其选择的翻译策略之间的关系。 第五章关注意识形态在翻译的操作阶段的作用。译者在这一阶段的工作主要是解码和编码，也即理解原文并用另一种语言传达所接受的信息。意识形态可能导致译者对原文的误读，本章从阐释学的角度对这一现象作了解释。在编码阶段，由于受意识形态的影响，译者可能会有意增删原文(或运用其它操控手段)，造成译文在一定程度上的不忠于原著。本章从政治介入、伦理干涉和审美过滤三个方面加以说明论证。 最后一章是结论和建议。 从意识形态角度研究翻译，为翻译研究提供了新的视角，可以让我们进一步 认识翻译活动的本质和译者的能动作用和所受的限制，对理论研究和实践都有重 大意义。本论文在老师悉心指导下完成，所做的也只是粗浅的工作，受作者能力 所限，很多观点尚不够成熟，敬请读者和各位专家予以批评和指正。
