从释意理论和认知语言学角度浅析口译中意义的显性/隐性双态

释意理论1以其独特的口译角度已经引起了国内很多学者的重视,而释意理论中出现的两个重要概念,即认知知识和提喻关系,更为深刻地体现了释意理论的精髓。其中关于认知补充和认知知识的功能性出现了多篇相关论述文章,例如采用图式理论加以解释,但少见与认知语言学的结合。而对于提喻关系,亦即意义的显性和隐性结合对于口译理解及表达的影响也鲜有文章论述。 本文力图结合认知语言学的研究成果支撑释意理论中关于意义的显性/隐性对口译的影响一说。本文首先详细介绍了释意理论的发展以及三组关键概念,然后引入认知语法的认知域概念以及语义的认知分析,这两组理论的阐述为后文的提喻和隐喻的认知分析打下理论基础。提喻的修辞学定义是用部分代替整体或以整体代替部分,这在释意理论中用以指代语言是意义的显性部分,需结合语言符号的隐性成分,即调用认知补充来理解意义。 基于认知语法分析,Langacker认为意义就是以认知域为背景的概念形成过程,大多数概念都是抽象域,而每一个抽象域都依据基本域(即原始表征域)形成的,从而说明每一个概念本身就存在图形/背景结构,即每一个概念都会触发认知知识中的其他相关概念,而概念构成短语,短语构成篇章,因此每...
