　　新词语是语言发展的刀锋,既具有语言自我发展的特性,也具有人类语言发展的共性。因此,对英汉两种截然不同的语言中的新词进行对比,通过分析词语发展的异同点,对揭示语言的本质和探索语言的发展规律有着重要的意义。 从模因论的视角对英汉新词对比分析,是对新词的产生、发展以及话语流传过程的一个重新认识。模因是一个文化信息和文化传递单位,生存在人类的大脑中不以人的主观想法而改变,通过不同的外在形式表现出来,语言是其中最为重要的一种。一个新词的产生并社会化的过程就是一个新的词语模因形成的过程。 文章采取描述与分析相结合,演绎与归纳相并用的方法,在自建小型英汉新词语料库的基础上辅以大量的例证,对英汉新词语的模因类型,新模因的生成方式,传播方式分别进行了对比分析,得出英汉新词语在以下四个方面具有相同性:第一,旧有模因的重组是新词语模因主要的生成方式;第二,复合模因是新词语模因成功生存的主要类型;第三,基因型模因的发展是新词语基本的传播方式;第四,新词语族类化的出现是新词语发展的趋势。在以下三个方面不同:第一,英汉混码词语是现代汉语新词语的一大特色而英语新词语中不存在这种词汇类型;第二,单模因词语在英语中更具...
