【摘要】：动物与人类生活息息相关,是人类的邻居和朋友。同样,动物词汇在人类语言中也占据着重要地位。本论文主要探讨动物词汇在新的认知框架中的隐喻意义构建机制。 在FauconnierTurner的概念溶合理论(1996)和Sperber Wilson的关联理论(1995)基础上,作者提出了新的解释框架——关联复合模式。通过概念溶合和寻找最佳关联,动物词汇具有的共同的意义构建机制在此框架中得到了科学合理的解释。作者认为动物词汇隐喻意义的构建不单单是从源域向目标域的一系列映射而是一个实时关联概念溶合过程,其中包括多个心理空间的多重映射,并最终获得最大关联。 在关联复合框架中动物词汇的意义构建被分成两个不同的类别:显性构建和隐性构建。在实施显性构建的过程中,在溶合空间中存在较多易获得的语境假设,因此发话人不用参照更多的语境信息就能够在此过程中以最小的努力找到最佳相关从而获得最大语境效果。实施隐性构建时,发话人要花费更多的努力在宏观语境下取得最大语境效果。这也就是说构建这种隐喻意义,发话人要参考更多的词汇信息、逻辑信息和百科信息。当然其中要包括一些社会文化因素。两种构建相辅相成,在关联复合框架中描述和分析动物词汇的隐喻意义构建,不但使得动物词汇的不同意义获得了系统性的联系,也为我们解释研究其他词汇的意义构建机制提供了崭新的视角。
