赴泰汉语教师志愿者跨文化人际交往个案研究

【摘要】：跨文化人际交往是不同文化背景的人们进行思想、感情交流的过程,是处在跨文化环境中的人们能否适应跨文化生活的重要方面。近年来,随着中国经济的迅速发展,“汉语热”在世界各国兴起,为满足各国汉语教学的需求,国家每年都会选派大批志愿者教师赴国外任教。大量的汉语教师志愿者赴任后,能否适应当地的工作和生活、能否与当地人进行良好的沟通已经成为非常值得我们关注的问题。本文针对赴泰汉语志愿者的跨文化人际交往,采取了定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,对在泰国北部任教的志愿者教师群体进行了调查研究,并运用人际交往理论和跨文化适应理论,对这一群体的跨文化人际交往进行了分析研究。研究结果表明:赴泰汉语教师志愿者与当地泰国人的跨文化人际交往仍然存在很多问题。在日常生活方面,志愿者教师与当地人们交往程度较低,交往的群体单一且交往的频率不高,不利于他们与当地泰国人建立良好的人际关系。在工作方面,汉语教师与学校领导同事和学生的关系比较融洽,但仍然容易发生误会、冲突,甚至造成比较紧张的人际交往状况。此外,志愿者教师与领导和同事保持良好关系相对于学生较为困难,而且在具体的人际沟通过程中往往较为被动。赴泰汉语教师志愿者跨文化人际交往中出现的问题也是由多方面的因素造成的。其中,语言障碍影响尤为突出。其次,文化差异,尤其是如何理解泰国人的真实情感、等级关系、隐私文化以及性别文化是影响赴泰志愿者跨文化人际交往的重要因素。再次,影响赴泰汉语教师志愿者人际交往的因素还包括难以克服自然环境,工作较忙以及缺乏与当地泰国人交往的平台和机会等客观因素。最后,志愿者教师对泰国人的印象偏差、自身的个性心理特征、与当地泰国人的交往动机不足也在不同程度上影响着他们的跨文化人际交往。最后,本论文针对赴泰汉语教师志愿者跨文化人际交往中的问题及其产生的原因,从志愿者自身、汉办的志愿者培训和泰方学校对志愿者教师的管理三方面提出了相应的对策和建议,希望为赴泰汉语教师志愿者更好地适应泰国的工作和生活提供一些参考。
[Abstract]:Cross-cultural interpersonal communication is the process of thinking and emotional exchange among people from different cultural backgrounds. It is also an important aspect of whether people in cross-cultural environment can adapt to cross-cultural life. With the rapid development of China's economy, "Chinese craze" is springing up all over the world. In order to meet the needs of Chinese teaching in various countries, the state sends a large number of volunteer teachers to teach abroad every year. Whether we can adapt to the local work and life, and whether we can communicate well with the local people has become a problem worthy of our attention. By combining quantitative and qualitative studies, this paper investigates the volunteer teachers who teach in northern Thailand, and makes use of interpersonal communication theory and intercultural adaptation theory. The results show that there are still many problems in cross-cultural interpersonal communication between Chinese teacher volunteers and local Thais. The volunteer teachers have a low level of communication with local people, the group of communication is single and the frequency of communication is not high, which is not conducive to the establishment of good interpersonal relationship between them and the local Thais. The relationship between Chinese teachers and their colleagues and students is harmonious, but they are still prone to misunderstandings, conflicts and even tense interpersonal situations. It is more difficult for volunteer teachers to maintain good relationships with their leaders and colleagues than with students. Moreover, in the process of specific interpersonal communication, it is often more passive. The problems in cross-cultural interpersonal communication of Chinese teacher volunteers in Thailand are also caused by various factors. Among them, language barriers are particularly important. Secondly, cultural differences. In particular, how to understand the true feelings of Thais, hierarchical relationships, privacy culture and gender culture are important factors that affect cross-cultural interpersonal communication of volunteers to Thailand. The factors that affect the interpersonal communication of Chinese teachers in Thailand include the difficult to overcome the natural environment, the busy work and the lack of the platform and opportunity to communicate with the local Thais. Finally, the teachers' impression of the Thai is biased. Their own personality psychological characteristics and lack of motivation to communicate with local Thais also affect their cross-cultural interpersonal communication to varying degrees. Finally, Aiming at the problems and causes of cross-cultural interpersonal communication among Chinese teachers in Thailand, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: volunteers themselves, volunteer training in Hanban and the management of volunteer teachers in Thai schools. Hope to provide some reference for Chinese teachers to Thailand to better adapt to the work and life in Thailand.
