多重赞助人模式下的上海孤岛时期翻译活动探讨

【摘要】：本文从多重赞助人的视角对上海孤岛时期的翻译活动以及多重赞助人运行模式进行研究。研究采用描述性翻译研究方法,以孤岛时期报纸副刊和书局、剧团的翻译活动为剖析点,探索多重赞助人的关系和运作机制。本研究发现,翻译活动中的赞助人的性质有直接和间接之分,且确实存在着多重赞助人的现象,赞助人之间因权力差异和利益冲突导致了博弈行为的出现,其运行机制主要有三点:弱势方服从或反抗强势方;权力相当的两方也可相互赞助;弱势方在翻译活动中占据主动地位。本研究一方面通过多重赞助人视角,对孤岛时期翻译活动的本质进行纵深剖析;另一方面,通过个案剖析,尝试对“赞助人”这一概念体系进行丰富、延伸和细化,加深人们对翻译活动的本质的认识。文章共有五个部分,第一部分梳理孤岛时期翻译活动的整体情况,总结赞助人概念的提出、发展和不足之处,确定本研究的视角并提出研究问题;第二部分梳理了孤岛时期翻译和赞助人的研究现状,结合前人研究提出本研究对于多重赞助人的定义和研究思路;第三部分通过梳理孤岛时期的政治和经济背景,探讨这一时期翻译活动繁荣发展出现多重赞助人现象的原因,并指出这一时期重要的赞助人;第四部分通过个案研究考察孤岛时期翻译活动中的多重赞助人现象以及运行机制;第五部分根据前几部分的研究,从多重赞助人的角度分析这一时期的翻译活动本质,对赞助人概念进行延伸和细化,展望未来研究方向,得出本研究的缺陷与不足。
[Abstract]:From the perspective of multiple patrons, this paper studies the translation activities and the operation mode of multiple patrons during the isolated island period in Shanghai. The study adopts the descriptive translation research method to explore the relationship and operation mechanism of multiple patrons with the translation activities of newspaper supplements and bookstores and theatrical troupes during the isolated island period as the analysis point. The present study finds that the nature of sponsors in translation activities is direct and indirect, and that there is indeed a phenomenon of multiple sponsors, which leads to the emergence of game behavior due to power differences and conflicts of interest among sponsors. There are three main operating mechanisms: the weak side obeying or resisting the strong side; the two parties with equal power can also sponsor each other; the weak party occupies the active position in the translation activities. On the one hand, this study makes a deep analysis of the nature of translation activities in the isolated island period from the perspective of multiple sponsors; on the other hand, it attempts to enrich, extend and refine the concept system of "patronage" through case studies. To deepen people's understanding of the nature of translation activities. There are five parts in this paper. The first part is to analyze the whole situation of translation activities during the isolated island period, summarize the concept of patronage, its development and shortcomings, determine the perspective of this study and put forward the research questions. The second part combs the current situation of translation and patron studies in the islanding period, and puts forward the definition and research ideas of the multi-patron in this study combined with previous studies. The third part combs the political and economic background of the islanding period. This paper probes into the reasons for the phenomenon of multiple patronage in the prosperous development of translation activities in this period, and points out the important patrons of this period. The fourth part examines the phenomenon of multiple patronage and its operating mechanism in translation activities in the period of isolated islands through case studies. The fifth part analyzes the essence of translation activities in this period from the point of view of multiple sponsors, extends and refines the concept of patronage, looks forward to the future research direction, and concludes the defects and shortcomings of this study.
