跨文化交际视角下的中西礼貌原则对比探究

【摘要】：礼貌是人类社会交际过程中的一种普遍现象,是人们在交际过程中必须遵守的行为准则,是维护良好人际关系的必要手段,是人类文明进步的重要标志,更是交际成功的奠基石。在社会语言交际中,礼貌原则是必须遵守的原则,人们可以用多种表达方式来表现礼貌的意蕴,并且越来越多的学者开始研究礼貌的言语表达,尤其是跨文化交际视角下礼貌原则的重要作用。跨文化交际中涉及最广泛的是语言的交际。从言语交际的表达方式中,可以明显地看出中西方文化背景的差异。当今社会,国际交流日益频繁,汉英两种文化的交流逐渐深入。然而语言和文化不同的国度礼貌的表达方式也不尽相同,这样在两种文化的交流中会不可避免地出现矛盾和冲突。在跨文化交际过程中,礼貌原则是交际双方必须遵守的原则。不论是中国的学者还是西方的学者都在研究礼貌原则。任何忽略了礼貌原则的交际都会影响到跨文化交际的顺利进行。深入了解中西方礼貌的渊源和礼貌原则的差异,有利于增进跨文化交际双方的交流,保证跨文化交际的顺利进行。本文在跨文化交际视角下对中西方的礼貌原则进行对比探究,在回顾了礼貌原则的起源和国内外研究的现状之后,重点对国内顾曰国和西方利奇的礼貌原则进行对比,并指出在此两种礼貌原则的指导下一些礼貌语言的差异。本文还对中西礼貌原则差异的原因作了分析,提出了跨文化交际下避免中西礼貌原则冲突的对策。总而言之,跨文化视角下的中西礼貌对比在理论上有合理性,在实践中有可操作性,期待此类研究会继续得以拓展和深化。
[Abstract]:Politeness is a universal phenomenon in the process of human social communication. It is the code of conduct that people must abide by in the process of communication. It is a necessary means to maintain good interpersonal relations and an important symbol of the progress of human civilization. It is also the cornerstone of social success. In social language communication, politeness principle is the principle that must be obeyed, people can express the meaning of politeness in many ways, and more scholars begin to study politeness speech expression. In particular, the important role of politeness principle in the perspective of cross-cultural communication. Language communication is the most widely involved in cross-cultural communication. From the expression of verbal communication, we can clearly see the differences between Chinese and western cultural backgrounds. Nowadays, international communication is becoming more and more frequent, and the communication between Chinese and English cultures is gradually deepening. However, different countries have different ways of expressing politeness in different languages and cultures, which will inevitably lead to contradictions and conflicts between the two cultures. In the process of cross-cultural communication, politeness principle is the principle that both communicators must abide by. Both Chinese and Western scholars are studying politeness principles. Any communication that ignores the politeness principle will affect the smooth progress of cross-cultural communication. To understand the origin of politeness and the differences of politeness principles between China and the West is helpful to enhance the communication between the two sides and to ensure the smooth progress of cross-cultural communication. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, this paper makes a comparative study of the politeness principles between China and the West. After reviewing the origin of the politeness principles and the current research situation at home and abroad, this paper focuses on the comparison of the politeness principles of Gu Yue and the Western Lich. Under the guidance of these two politeness principles, some differences in politeness language are pointed out. This paper also analyzes the reasons for the differences between Chinese and Western politeness principles, and puts forward some countermeasures to avoid the conflict between Chinese and Western politeness principles in cross-cultural communication. In a word, the cross-cultural politeness contrast between China and the West is reasonable in theory and operable in practice. It is expected that this kind of research will be further expanded and deepened.
