《第二语言教师教育—社会文化视角》(节选)翻译报告

【摘要】:随着英语的迅速发展以及第二语言教师教育这一学科的建立,教师教育在教育乃至整个社会发展中的作用与意义日益凸显。语言教学是一个复杂的过程,第二语言教学更是如此。而本书体现的新思路、新视角和新方法,对我国外语教师的专业发展具有重要的指导意义。因此,本书的翻译具有重要意义。本文是一篇翻译报告。原文本为Karen E.Johnson所著的《第二语言教师教育——社会文化观》的前三章。其主要介绍了如何从社会文化视角去转变对教师学习、语言、语言教学以及第二语言教师教育事业的各种理解方式,并提出要重视二语教师教育的重要性,特别是要重视教师教育模式。本报告以关联理论为基础,通过探讨翻译过程中遇到的问题,提出了转换、添加、释义、明示四种翻译技巧在文本翻译中的运用并解决了在翻译中遇到的困难。这既深化了对关联理论作为人类交际的认知理论的理解,又能够为遇到类似问题的译者提供了一定的参考。本翻译报告一共分为五部分。第一部分是简介,介绍了报告的背景,内容以及目的和重要性。第二部分是过程描述,主要是简单介绍了作者以及原文本的写作风格与内容。第三部分是翻译过程的描述,包括译前准备,翻译计划以及后期的校对和质量把控。第四部分是报告的中心,主要探讨了翻译过程中遇到的问题,关联理论与翻译,并结合翻译过程中出现的问题提出相应的解决策略。最后第五部分是对整个报告的总结,概括了翻译过程中的发现以及仍存在的问题,对于以后的译者可以提供一定的经验。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of English and the establishment of the subject of second language teacher education, teacher education plays an increasingly important role in the development of education and the whole society. Language teaching is a complicated process, especially second language teaching. The new ideas, new perspectives and new methods embodied in this book are of great significance to the professional development of foreign language teachers in China. Therefore, the translation of this book is of great significance. This paper is a translation report. The original text is the first three chapters of Karen E.Johnson 's second language teacher Education-Social and Cultural View. It mainly introduces how to change the understanding of teachers' learning, language teaching and second language teachers' education from the perspective of social culture, and puts forward the importance of attaching importance to second language teachers' education. In particular, we should attach importance to the mode of teacher education. Based on relevance theory, this paper discusses the problems encountered in the process of translation, and puts forward the application of four translation techniques: conversion, addition, interpretation and ostentativeness in text translation, and solves the difficulties encountered in translation. This not only deepens the understanding of relevance theory as the cognitive theory of human communication, but also provides a certain reference for translators who encounter similar problems. This translation report is divided into five parts. The first part is a brief introduction, introducing the background, content, purpose and importance of the report. The second part is the process description, mainly introduces the author and the writing style and content of the original text. The third part is a description of the translation process, including pre-translation preparation, translation planning, late proofreading and quality control. The fourth part is the center of the report, which mainly discusses the problems encountered in the process of translation, relevance theory and translation, and puts forward corresponding solutions to the problems in the process of translation. The last part is a summary of the whole report, which summarizes the findings and problems in the process of translation, which can provide some experience for the translators in the future.
