欧洲非英语发达国家学术领域母语使用的问题与对策

【摘要】:在英语成为国际学术通用语的趋势下,其他语言在国际学术界逐渐被边缘化。欧洲学者在上世纪八九十年代就意识到,处理英语和母语的关系是学术领域一个核心且棘手的问题。这些国家一方面不断提高学者英语水平,在国际上推广本国科研成果,另一方面也在本国学术领域鼓励母语使用,提高母语创造和传播新知识的能力。欧洲发达国家在这方面有比较丰富的经验,比如制定学术语言规划政策、资助母语推广、鼓励双语发表、创办多语期刊等。这些做法可以为我国学术领域的中文使用提供参考。
[Abstract]:With the trend of English becoming an international academic language, other languages have been marginalized in international academic circles. European scholars realized in the 1980s and 1990s that dealing with the relationship between English and their mother tongue was a central and thorny issue in the academic field. On the one hand, these countries continuously improve the English level of scholars and promote their own scientific research results internationally. On the other hand, they also encourage the use of their mother tongue in their academic field and improve their ability to create and disseminate new knowledge. European developed countries have rich experience in this field, such as formulating academic language planning policies, subsidizing the promotion of mother tongue, encouraging bilingual publication, and establishing multilingual journals. These methods can provide a reference for the use of Chinese in the academic field of our country.
