维州汉语教师志愿者跨文化适应个案研究

【摘要】:随着中国文化传播战略的调整,越来越多的汉语教师志愿者走出国门,进行汉语教学与文化传播活动,如何顺利地度过跨文化适应任期日益成为国家汉办和志愿者个人关注的问题。由于各国汉语传播项目开展时间和发展程度不同,因此对志愿者跨文化适应的研究国别分配不均,多集中于派往人数较多的东南亚地区,对志愿者跨文化适应的定量研究较多,质的研究较少。鉴于国家汉办和澳大利亚维多利亚州汉语助教项目的独特性,并结合以往研究的不足,我们决定对赴澳志愿者的跨文化适应进行质的研究,探讨赴澳志愿者跨文化适应所遇困难、应对策略、动态过程,并最终对适应过程进行理论构建,对赴澳志愿者的跨文化适应提供借鉴,对志愿者赴任前期的跨文化培训提供建议。本研究采取质的研究中个案研究、叙事探究的研究方法,通过观察、访谈、日记、收集实物的方法收集原始材料,再现了赴澳志愿者跨文化适应的动态历程,本文以"我"作为研究对象,并以对其余两位赴澳志愿者的访谈为辅,逐渐将适应问题聚焦在语言,人际交往,生活和工作四个方面。本文采取类属和情境呈现的方式对研究结果进行撰写。在深度分析材料的基础上,"我"对自身跨文化适应历程进行了理论构建。英语适应呈上升趋势,赴任初期"我"具有沟通焦虑,通过主观努力和客观环境的影响,英语听说能力逐渐提高,能够进行积极主动的交际。"我"在赴任前期压力最大,对异文化一无所知。随着时间的发展,由于中澳文化的不同,"我"对新的文化常伴有抵触,排斥的心理,伴随着适应受挫,受主观的努力和客观大环境的影响,"我"对异文化采取融合心态,这是顺利完成任期的一种可行的跨文化适应模式。当志愿者原有观念与当地文化价值观发生冲突时,可持开放保留态度,暂缓对事件的评价,尝试理解异文化并平稳完成任期。本研究也为志愿者赴任前的培训提供建议。第一,完善志愿者选拔机制。第二,重视跨文化适应的理论培训,并结合典型案例。第三,重视跨文化适应的技能训练。
[Abstract]:With the adjustment of the Chinese culture communication strategy, more and more Chinese teachers volunteer to walk out of the national gate to carry out the activities of Chinese teaching and culture, and how to smoothly spend the cross-cultural adaptation term is becoming a concern of the national and the volunteers. Because of the different time and development degree of the national communication project, the study of the cross-cultural adaptation of the volunteers is uneven, more concentrated in the Southeast Asia region, and the quantitative research on the cross-cultural adaptation of the volunteers is more and the qualitative research is less. In view of the uniqueness of the Chinese teaching assistant project in Victoria and Victoria, and in combination with the shortcomings of the previous research, we decided to study the cross-cultural adaptation of the volunteers to Australia, and to discuss the difficulties, strategies and dynamic processes of the cross-cultural adaptation to the volunteers in Australia. And finally, the theory construction is carried out on the adaptation process, and the cross-cultural adaptation of the volunteers to the Australia is provided for reference, and a proposal for the cross-cultural training of the volunteers in the early stage is provided. With the development of time, because of the difference of the Chinese and Australian culture, the "I" 's new culture is often accompanied by conflict and exclusion, with the influence of adapting to the setback, the subjective effort and the objective and the great environment, and the "I" adopts a fusion mentality to the different culture, This is a viable cross-cultural adaptation model for the successful completion of the term of office. When the original concept of the volunteer conflicts with the local cultural values, it may hold an open reservation attitude, suspend the evaluation of the event, try to understand the different culture and finish the term of the term smoothly. This study also provides advice on the training of volunteers prior to the appointment. First, perfect the volunteer selection mechanism. Secondly, attach importance to the theoretical training of cross-cultural adaptation and combine the typical cases. Third, attach importance to the skills training of cross-cultural adaptation.
