包装名词信息结构的认知分析

　　本文研究抽象名词中特殊的一类名词,即包装名词。包装名词在语言使用中出现频率高,覆盖范围广,包括thing, problem, fact, process, idea等。包装名词借助语法构式能把语篇信息包装在名词之内,因而包装名词不是因其内在属性而是通过在语法构式中发挥包装语篇信息的功能得以冠名。包装名词与其语法构式的功能是将事件、抽象关系及其这些事件和抽象关系的隐含意义等语篇打包,在实现语篇的简洁功能的同时能更顺畅地传递语篇的信息流。根据这类名词的功能,很多研究者给予了不同术语,如带壳名词、标记名词、包装名词等。本文作者认为用包装名词作为这类词语的统称更能体现这类词语的功能,这也是源自作者的生活体验。我们在现实生活中能发现很多打包的现象,譬如：在超市购物时,我们把所买的东西装入纸袋或塑料袋中,以便方便携地把物品带回家；在码头,装运工人把物品装入集装箱内,以区分货物的种类和保护物品不受损害；在电脑上,办公人员把文档归类,把它们放入新命名的文件夹内,以便存贮和查找资料。这些生活的体验会映射到语言结构中,语篇中大量的块状复杂的信息需要方便地传输或再次提及,但由于大脑短暂记忆储存的局限性而导致...
