【摘要】：劳伦·贝兰特分析霍桑《红字》的《国家幻想的解剖》是20世纪末叶以来"情感理论"的扛鼎之作。她认为霍桑是意有郁结不得通其道,故述往事思来者,将《红字》写成了一部国家认同的幻想型作品。而她则有意探讨作为国家主体的芸芸众生,为什么不光是先已分享了国家的历史或政治忠诚,同样也分享了一系列地方的和个人的情感形式。斯宾诺莎《伦理学》将情感(affect)定义为身体的感触。从身体的角度,特别是小说女主人公海斯特身体的角度来看《红字》,则不光可以读出性别压迫的先声,在贝兰特看来,霍桑的公民观念和性别观念,也在官方和大众、国家和地方、集体和个人,以及乌托邦和历史的交集中,呼之欲出。
[Abstract]:Lauren Berlant Hawthorne of "the scarlet letter" the "national fantasy anatomy" is the end of the twentieth Century, since the "emotion theory" one. She thinks Hawthorne is a stagnation not through the road, so the past, future, will be "the scarlet letter" written in a fantasy of national identity. And she intends to discuss why all the people who are the main body of the state share their historical or political loyalty first, and also share a series of local and personal emotional forms. Spinoza's "ethics" defines emotion (affect) as the feeling of the body. From the angle of the body, especially the heroine Hester body perspective "the scarlet letter", is not only to read the harbinger of gender oppression, in the eyes of Hawthorne Bei Rand, citizenship and gender, also in the official and the public, local and national, collective and individual, as well as the intersection of history and Utopia in contrast.
