身份、自我与禁忌:传统犹太母育研究

【摘要】：犹太民族具有重视母育的悠久历史。20世纪五六十年代以来,犹太母亲刻板形象在美国文学、喜剧和影视作品中广泛流传。刻板形象中的传统犹太母亲能干、健谈、竭力维护民族文化传统,倾力于养育子女。本文以多部犹太作家作品为例,从禁忌的心理影响分析犹太母亲在日常生活中对子女的细致照顾,督促他们进取,给他们灌输强烈的身份意识。同时,严格执行戒律给子女带来的窒息感招致子辈的强烈反抗。由于传统犹太母育缺乏适度的宽容,不能够做到适时放手而阻碍了子女的自我发展,使他们在主流社会生活中陷入两难境地。刻板形象中的犹太母亲表现出对子女强烈的爱,这一形象的流行投射和宣泄了美国犹太群体融入主流社会过程中的群体焦虑。
[Abstract]:The Jewish nation has a long history of attaching importance to mother education. Since 50s and 60s twentieth Century, the stereotyped image of the Jewish mother has been widely spread in American literature, comedy and film and television. The traditional Jewish mothers in the stereotyped image are capable, talkative, and endeavor to maintain the cultural traditions of the nation and to nurture their children. Taking many works of Jewish writers as an example, this paper analyzes Jewish mothers' meticulous care for their children in daily life from the psychological influence of taboos, urges them to be enterprising, and instills strong sense of identity to them. At the same time, strict enforcement of the habit of asphyxiation to the children caused the strong resistance of the children. Due to the lack of moderate tolerance in traditional Jewish mother education, it can not get rid of the children's self-development and let them get into a dilemma in the mainstream social life. In the stereotyped image, Jewish mothers show strong love for their children. The popularity of this image cast and vent the group anxiety in the process of Jewish community integration into the mainstream society.
