语境中的通灵之争——《占有》中的幽灵叙事

【摘要】：英国当代女作家A.S.拜厄特在其最具代表性的"新维多利亚小说"《占有》一书中,从当代视角对19世纪风行一时的通灵术热潮进行重构,再现了19世纪科学语境中的通灵术之争。本文通过对小说中主要人物通灵体验与感悟的分析,将幽灵叙事置于维多利亚时代科学与宗教张力关系中进行考察,揭示出其所蕴含的精神与物质关系的悖论性。
[Abstract]:In his most representative novel, the New Victorian novel "possession", A. SByatt, a contemporary British woman writer, reconstructs the popular psychic craze of 19th century from a contemporary perspective. This paper reproduces the controversy of psychic art in the scientific context in 19th century. Through the analysis of the psychic experience and perception of the main characters in the novel, the ghost narrative is put into the relationship between science and religion tension in Victorian era. It reveals the paradox of the relationship between spirit and material.
