符号学视角下的《古舟子咏》中象征、隐喻和互文性研究

【摘要】:本文从现代符号学理论视角对英国浪漫主义时期诗人柯勒律治的《古舟子咏》进行符号学解析。具体而言,通过定性的研究方法,研究了三个重点问题:(一)象征、隐喻和互文分别在《古舟子咏》中是如何体现的?(二)怎样解释《古舟子咏》中的象征、隐喻和互文?(三)融合象征、隐喻和互文性的现代符号学理论在诗歌赏析中是如何发挥作用的?本文选取柯勒律治《古舟子咏》作为研究对象。首先,在象征方面,通过信天翁,冰山和水蛇三个典型意象的选择,分析《古舟子咏》中的象征意义。其次,在隐喻意义方面,通过对《古舟子咏》中的语音层面与语义层面的隐喻分析,论述不同层面的隐喻含义。再次,在互文方面,通过经典著作中的主题、意象以及原型的互文性分析,分别就主体的对话、文化的对话以及文本的对话三个层面对《古舟子咏》进行互文性理论分析。最后,在符号学理论的指导下,通过对象征、隐喻和互文性分析结果的综合解析,结合诗人的前知识经验,论述符号学理论对于诗歌的意义表达与意义解释方面的作用。通过研究,本文得出以下结论:第一,《古舟子咏》中的象征是通过意象的象征意义体现的,主要涉及三个典型意象,即信天翁、冰山和水蛇;隐喻是通过语音层面与语义层面隐喻含义体现的;互文则是通过不同著作中的主题、意象以及原型体现的。第二,就象征而言,诗歌中信天翁、冰山和水蛇意象的象征意义体现在诗歌语言的方方面面,包括主题和基督教内涵甚至格律和韵脚,此外,诗中意象的象征意义的构建是不同意象之间共同作用的结果,包括教堂,小山,灯塔,老水手等,还包括一些视觉意象;就隐喻而言,本诗中语音层面的隐喻更多地涉及感叹隐喻,韵律隐喻,尤其是押头韵的使用,而语义层面的隐喻则涉及词汇隐喻和句子隐喻,隐喻的存在为诗歌的深层含义的理解提供了一个很好的支撑;就互文而言,通过主题、意象和原型三个方面的互文性分析,使《古舟子咏》在不同时期、不同地域和不同民族的大文化背景下拥有相似的主题和人物形象,并产生相似的文化影响。第三,符号学理论为诗歌的解析提供了一个很好的视角,象征表现了诗歌独特的美学,通过暗示和陌生化手法构建的象征意象投射出诗歌的象征寓意;语音隐喻使诗歌语言变得更为生动和准确,增添了诗歌的音乐性,语义层面的隐喻则使诗歌语言更富有文学性;互文则加深了对诗人本身所要传达的精神的理解。由此可见,符号学理论对于诗歌鉴赏起到一个基本而又重要的作用,无论是诗歌表层含义的理解亦或是深层意义的表达,符号学都为其提供了科学而有效的方法,更提高了诗歌赏析的系统性、科学性与开放性。
[Abstract]:From the perspective of modern semiotics, this paper makes a semiotics analysis of the poet Coleridge of the British Romantic period. Specifically, through qualitative research methods, this paper studies three key questions: symbolism, metaphor and intertextuality, which are embodied in Ancient Boat Zi Chong respectively. (2) how to explain the symbolism, metaphor and intertextuality in Ancient Boat Ching? (3) how does the modern semiotic theory of symbolism, metaphor and intertextuality play a role in poetry appreciation? In this paper, Coleridge's Ancient Boat Poon is chosen as the research object. First of all, in the aspect of symbolism, through the choice of three typical images of albatrosses, icebergs and water snakes, this paper analyzes the symbolic significance of the ancient boat. Secondly, in terms of metaphorical meaning, this paper discusses the metaphorical meanings at different levels through the metaphorical analysis of phonological and semantic aspects in Ancient Boat Ching. Thirdly, in the aspect of intertextuality, through the intertextuality analysis of themes, images and archetypes in classical works, the intertextuality theory is analyzed on three levels: the dialogue of the subject, the dialogue of the culture and the dialogue of the text. Finally, under the guidance of semiotics theory, through the comprehensive analysis of the results of symbolic, metaphorical and intertextuality analysis, combined with the poet's previous knowledge and experience, this paper discusses the role of semiotics theory in the meaning expression and meaning interpretation of poetry. The main conclusions are as follows: first, the symbolism in Ancient Boat Ching is embodied by the symbolic meaning of the image, which involves three typical images, namely albatrosses, icebergs and water snakes; Metaphor is embodied by metaphorical meaning at the phonological and semantic levels, while intertextuality is embodied by themes, images and archetypes in different works. Second, as far as symbolism is concerned, the symbolic meaning of the albatross, iceberg and water snake images in poetry is embodied in all aspects of the poetic language, including themes and Christian connotations, even rhythm and rhyme, in addition, The construction of the symbolic meaning of the imagery in the poem is the result of disagreeing with the interaction of the elephants, including churches, hills, lighthouses, old sailors, and some visual images; in the case of metaphors, The phonetics metaphor in this poem is more concerned with the use of sigh metaphor, prosodic metaphor, especially rhyme, while the semantic metaphor involves lexical metaphor and sentence metaphor. The existence of metaphor provides a good support for the understanding of the deep meaning of poetry. As far as intertextuality is concerned, through the intertextuality analysis of three aspects, theme, image and archetype, "Ancient Booziyong" is made in different periods. Different regions and different ethnic groups have similar themes and characters, and have similar cultural influences. Third, semiotics theory provides a good perspective for the analysis of poetry. Symbolism represents the unique aesthetics of poetry, and the symbolic image constructed by implication and defamiliarization projects the symbolic meaning of poetry. The phonetic metaphor makes the poetic language more vivid and accurate, and adds the musicality of the poem, while the semantic metaphor makes the poetic language more literary, while the intertextuality deepens the understanding of the poet's own spirit. Thus, semiotics theory plays a basic and important role in poetry appreciation. Whether it is the understanding of the surface meaning of poetry or the expression of deep meaning, semiotics provides a scientific and effective method for poetry appreciation. It also improves the system, science and openness of poetry appreciation.
