【摘要】：正乔治·艾略特在西方文学史上颇负盛名,她不但在女性文学家中威望甚高,而且同时代的所有英国作家中,也只有狄更斯、萨克雷等人能够与之比肩。艾略特在其作品中倾注了更多宗教道德层面的主旨倾向性,并且在很大程度上实现了艺术对社会的主观改造。宗教道德、自然风光以及哲学历史等话题,都是她作品所希望表达的主题。小说《米德尔马契》是艾略特创作生涯中写作风格
[Abstract]:George Elliot is very famous in the history of Western literature. She is not only prestigious in female writers, but also in all British writers of the same age, but only by Dickens and Thackeray. Eliot has poured more religious moral tendencies in his works and realized it to a great extent. The subject of the subjective transformation of art to society.
