走向后现代的历程:《金色笔记》中的知识分子精神危机

【摘要】:本文认为,多丽丝·莱辛的《金色笔记》是后现代转向的文学记述,借助元小说的手法展现了二十世纪中后页文学创作和社会政治从现代主义转向后现代主义的全过程。在这个过程反映出,英国左派运动逐渐式微,是原左派知识分子陷入精神危机并走向后现代主义的深层原因。《金色笔记》的主角,女作家安娜·沃尔夫先后创作了三部作品,即《战争边缘》、《第三者的影子》和《自由女性》,形成“小说中的小说”,其间夹以创作前、中、后安娜的个人经历、政治生活、安娜本人对文学创作的反思与其他人对作品的评论。以每一部“小说中的小说”为核心,《金色笔记》中的后现代转向可以大致分成三个阶段。本文以三个章节分别论述这三个阶段。首先,后现代转向始于对现代主义叙事的解构。通过将现代主义文本《战争边缘》与黑色笔记中安娜真正的经历进行并置,反映虚假的现代主义文本对后现代现实的扭曲。安娜在自我批判中正式与现代主义决裂。其次,安娜所积极参与的共产主义运动的失败促使她投入以女性主义为代表的边缘政治中,并创作实验性的作品《第三者的影子》,这是她转向后现代过程中的半成品。最后,《自由女性》以及最终形成的“金色笔记”标志着后现代转向的最终完成。安娜在文学创作手法和政治思想上倒向后现代主义,消除了自我与社会的争吵,从精神崩溃中痊愈。本文从马克思主义的角度剖析后现代主义政治学,引用伊格尔顿、马尔库塞、福柯等理论家的观点,认为后现代主义是一种“破而不立”的政治学,反对一切主导和普遍性的原则,而非提出真正的解决方案。这是《金色笔记》矛盾结局的内在原因。
[Abstract]:This paper holds that Doris Lessing's Golden Notebook is a postmodern turn of literary narration, which shows the whole process of literary creation and social politics from modernism to postmodernism in the middle of the 20th century by means of metafiction. This process reflects the gradual decline of the British leftist movement, which is the deep reason why the former leftist intellectuals fell into spiritual crisis and advanced to postmodernism. The protagonist of Golden Notebook, female writer An Na Wolfe, has created three works one after another. "the edge of war", "the shadow of a third party," and "free women" form "novels in novels," intertwined with personal experiences, political life, before, after, and after the creation of An Na. An Na's own reflection on literary creation and others' comments on his works. With each novel as the core, the postmodern turn in Golden Notebook can be roughly divided into three stages. This paper discusses the three stages in three chapters. First, the post-modern turn begins with the deconstruction of modernist narration. By juxtaposing the modernist text "the Edge of War" with the true experience of An Na in the black notes, it reflects the distortion of the postmodern reality in the false modernist text. An Na breaks with modernism in his self-criticism. Secondly, the failure of the communist movement in which An Na was actively involved prompted her to engage in the marginal politics represented by feminism and to create an experimental work, the shadow of a third party, which was a semi-finished product of her transition to the post-modern era. Finally, Free Women and the final formation of the Golden Notebook marked the final completion of the post-modern turn. An Na reversed to postmodernism in literary creation techniques and political thoughts, eliminated the quarrel between himself and society, and recovered from the collapse of spirit. This paper analyzes postmodernism politics from the angle of Marxism, citing the views of Eagleton, Marcuse, Foucault and other theorists, thinks that postmodernism is a kind of political science of "breaking but not standing". Oppose all principles of dominance and universality, rather than come up with real solutions. This is the inner cause of the contradictory ending of the Golden Notebook.
