“汤显祖与莎士比亚”话题提出的时代语境及问题实质

【摘要】：中国的汤显祖与英国的莎士比亚是举世公认的东西方戏剧的杰出代表。由于两人的生活和创作时间相近,又于同一年去世,故自20世纪30年代日本学者青木正儿在《中国近世戏曲史》中首次把他们相提并论,很快引起中国学界对汤显祖与莎士比亚之间比较话题的关注与回应。2016年是汤显祖与莎士比亚逝世的400周年,伴随着在世界范围内举办汤显祖与莎士比亚逝世400周年的纪念活动,汤显祖与莎士比亚的话题再度成为当世关注的焦点。然而,汤显祖与莎士比亚虽然在400年前是同时代的戏剧家,但首次把他们放在一起进行讨论是从20世纪30年代才开始出现的,而引发此一话题的直接诱因是19世纪中后叶以来西学东渐时代大潮下西方近代戏剧对东方近代戏剧的跨文化影响。本文重点探讨汤显祖与莎士比亚话题提出的近代西学东渐的时代语境,及其背后所凸显出的西方近代戏剧对于东方近代戏剧的影响作用和话语关系。
[Abstract]:China's Tang Xianzu and the English Shakespeare are the outstanding representatives of the world-recognized East-West drama. Since the life and creation time of the two people were similar, and died in the same year, the Japanese scholar, Qingmu Zhenger, first put them in the same time in the history of the Chinese near-world drama. In 2016 it was the 400th anniversary of the death of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare, with the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the death of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare in the world. The topic of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare once again became the focus of the attention of the world. However, while the Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare were the dramatists of the same age 400 years ago, the first time they put them together was the beginning of the 1930s, The direct cause of this topic is the cross-cultural influence of the western modern drama on the modern drama of the East since the beginning of the 19th century. This paper focuses on the time context of the modern western learning from the topic of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare, and the influence of the western modern drama on the modern drama in the East and the discourse relation.
