创伤理论视阈下的《追风筝的孩子》中文化创伤研究

小说《追风筝的孩子》出版于911事件两年之后的2013年,是阿富汗裔美国作家卡勒德·胡赛尼公开发表的第一部作品。小说一经问世便颇受各国读者喜爱,同时也在文学业界内引发巨大反响。小说讲述了以为来自喀布尔地区的男孩阿米尔和他们好朋友哈桑之间的故事。小说以倒叙的方式,通过主人公阿米尔的回忆为读者揭示其秘密的同时,也再现了主人公因种族、战争、性别歧视等原因所造成的创伤。利用文化创伤理论来分析该作品,探究其中的文化创伤外显,造成文化创伤的原因,以及治疗文化创伤的方式。通过对作品中文化创伤的探索,可以揭示出只有勇于面对层出的问题,正确处理创伤记忆与当下生活间的关系,问题才会迎刃而解,创伤痊愈才能实现。在该作品中,主人公的种种遭遇也是阿富汗民族苦难的缩影。胡赛尼通过其作品再现了阿富汗民族的创伤经历,引起了人们对于这一群体的精神生活与生存状态的关注。本文利用文化创伤理论分析该作品,让读者从另一个侧面去审视这片土地上人民的苦难的同时,也为国内研究胡赛尼作品提供一个全新的视角。
