论《女勇士》和《莫娜在希望之乡》中的性别操演和种族操演

种族和性别,尤其是华裔女性的种族和性别问题,是族裔文学领域两个经久不衰的话题。巴特勒的性别操演理论颠覆了传统的性观念,她认为性别是流动的,是可操演的。由于性别和种族有很多共同之处,在某种程度上性别被种族化了,种族也有可能被性别化。华裔男性和女性的性别形成和种族形成是交错在一起的,因此我们可以推断种族身份也是可以操演的,基于性别操演理论的种族操演是可行的。本文主要是通过对华裔女性在《女勇士》中的性别操演的分析来揭示华裔女性的性别困境,以及种族操演在《莫娜在希望之乡》中的分析来揭示美国多元文化主义背景下的族裔身份的多重性,由此来揭示华裔男性和女性的性别身份的构建和种族身份的构建是交织在一起的。本论文分为五章。第一章主要介绍了华裔女性的移民历史和华裔女性作家的写作特点。两部小说的作家和作品的简要介绍以及涉及文本分析的性别和种族操演理论。第二章主要分析了《女勇士》中的性别操演。大部分华裔女性都在被动的操演父权制压迫下的刻板的女性形象以及美国社会东方主义话语下的刻板的种族形象。此外也有一些通过主动操演男性气质来解构父权制下的性别霸权的女性形象,比如汤婷婷笔下的花木兰和勇兰。因此,华裔女性是可以通...
