接受美学视角下《等待戈多》和《终局》的分析

塞缪尔·贝克特(Samuel Beckett)是1969年诺贝尔文学奖的获得者,是二十世纪最重要的作家之一。贝克特一生中创作了大量的戏剧、小说、诗歌和散文。他在戏剧方面的成就尤为突出,被誉为荒诞派戏剧大师。贝克特在戏剧人物、语言和情节方面的创新使他的戏剧被读者广泛地欣赏和研究。早期,贝克特戏剧批评的主流是哲学研究。近期,贝克特戏剧批评则见证了更富有洞察力的研究方法以及置于各种语境中、视野更为开阔的重大议题。本文从接受美学的视角分析了《等待戈多》和《终局》的荒诞性。《等待戈多》和《终局》是贝克特最先出版的两部戏剧,也被公认为贝克特最重要的两部戏剧。然而,暗淡无力的人物,支离破碎的语言,颠倒无序的情节,使得两部戏剧的传播和接受经历了一个曲折的过程。戏剧人物不再拥有英雄的品质和丰富的个性,反英雄、反个性的人物形象挫败了读者期待,促使读者填补空白,发现戏剧人物的荒诞;戏剧语言不再是表达意义的工具和实现交流的手段,语言的未定性在文本间留下了空白,召唤读者填补空白,发现语言的不可靠性;戏剧情节否定了整一的、合理的传统戏剧模式,循环性和非理性的戏剧情节打破了读者的期待视野,促使读者发现戏剧情节的荒诞...
