后殖民主义视角下的《消散》解读

论文以圭亚那作家戴维·达比丁的小说《消散》为研究对象,以后殖民主义理论为研究视角。通过理论分析与文本细读相结合的方式对小说的情节、人物塑造和主题进行了解读。小说《消散》描写了一位圭亚那工程师在英国修筑海坝时所经历的故事。大篇幅的人物对话和细致入微的心理描写是小说创作中的亮点。本文首先采用了文献研究法,通过对相关文献的检索与分析,进一步了解到关于作者戴维·达比丁及其作品研究的历史与现状。其次,运用描述性研究法与概念分析法相结合的研究方法对小说进行了深入剖析。运用福柯权力话语理论中权力网络关系以及权力的运作的相关理论分析了小说的整体情节发展,使小说的情节在不同的权力网络关系中得以清晰地呈现出来。对小说的人物形象塑造的深入剖析则是借助赛义德在其理论巨著《东方主义》一书中所表达的相关理论来进行的。通过将赛义德对传统东方学的解构、批判等观念与人物的心理变化、关系改变以及认知变化结合起来,分析了作者在小说中的人物塑造。通过阐述爱德华编著《东方主义》一书的目的对小说的主题意义进行了深入的挖掘。最后,本论文从较为新颖的研究视角得出研究结论:作者对小说的整体情节的勾勒立体化地展现了故事环境中的权利网络关...
