《被掩埋的巨人》中的命运主题研究

　　《被掩埋的巨人》是诺贝尔文学奖获得者石黑一雄的代表作,其国际化的写作视角对当代全球化发展具有极大的现实意义。在这部作品中,“命运”一词贯穿始终,不仅反映了作家对个体命运与民族命运的关注与思考,同时也展现了其对当代人类共同命运的反思。因此,本文以“命运”为切入点,对该作品中所传达的命运主题做出解读,以期能丰富、扩展对石黑一雄作品的研究。本文对作家及其作品、国内外相关研究、命运与命运主题做出简要概括和分析。个体命运的书写反映了不同种族、不同地域、不同身份下的人物命运结局;不列颠民族的救赎与撒克逊民族的复仇命运揭示了当代人类生存、发展及和平问题;基督教、异教及巫术等宗教因素的加入不仅丰富了小说的故事内容,同时也影响了小说中个体和民族命运承载者的命运轨迹。通过对此课题的研究,本文凸显了作家的人道主义思想,对当今世界建设和谐社会提供了人文关怀和道德要求,更有利于人类的自我反思和更好的自我发展。
